This year's bundle of fun...
Can we expect non-stop reports of doom and gloom?
I doubt it. People dying this quick don't make for a very good epidemic.
One of my children asked me a while back why all the news was about ISIS and Ebola; I told him because they were distractions from the destruction of our country. Living here in northern NJ, with empty storefronts and “For Sale” signs everywhere, it isn’t hard to demonstrate the point.
Very true, and worth repeating.
(Just because Ebola isn't in the news--thanks, in part to Czardom--doesn't mean that outbreak is over yet.) Death rates as reported are down, but new cases are still happening in the region (West Africa).
There is always some bad news somewhere, for someone. With the wonders of modern technology we all get to find about it, unless the Government is having the media spike the story.
