Kudos to Joan Jett for her success. I’ve read that after the Beatles break-up that Ringo turned into an alcoholic because of depression. That’s understandable, I guess. But he fought through it and became successful on his own. So, good on him as well.

Don’t get me wrong, Ringo is probably my favorite Beatle as a person, and he was no slouch on the drums, but I just don’t think his solo career which mainly consisted of covering others’ songs is worth of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Kudos to Joan Jett for her success.

First concert I ever saw. Years later I flew from Minneapolis to Billings surrounded by her road crew. It was the longest 2 hours of my life.
