I know what you mean and especially when you have legendary bands like Deep Purple and the Moody Blues still not in, but if memory serves you have rap groups like Run DMC and pop singers like Madonna in there. What the hell?
The Moody Blues still havent even had a nomination after selling 70 million albums with a couple of them being ground breaking.
What does it take to get a nomination ?
At the annual one day feel good meeting for those with annual passes it did come up in the discussion meeting that members thought it was outrageous that the Moody Blues aren't inducted. Assurances were given, but still no nomination. The R&R HOF is kind of a joke. They have a real thing against true traditional rock and favor commercially successful garbage.
