Liberal logic just doesn’t work. From Warren’s ‘you didn’t build that’ to Hillary’s ‘give money to the middle, not top or bottom.’ My complaint is the media’s failure to follow up and as Democrats to justify or explain their positions.
So true and it can't and never will. It can only be put in place by lies and guile and held in place by force and tyranny.
Why? Marxism and socialism (only a few semantic and philosophical differences here) violate every one of the Ten Commandments and turns Natural Law on it's head. It is incapable of working for good.
It also runs contrary to the Biblical principles in Proverbs which encourage and reward good human behavior and instead it encourages and rewards those which are the worst.
It a BIG FAIL! everywhere it is tried. But don't expect that to stop it's enthusiasts and practitioners. They will continue the lies and guile and when it is firmly established they will revert to the force and tyranny because it puts them and their values in charge.
It is an unfortunate fact of life that the majority of the Texas U.S. House members sporting the Republican label are RINOs.
We can start with the OTHER Senator John Wayne McCornyn, He is just like one of us.
This ass is a MAJOR Rino - McConnell’s No. 2
There is one conservative I can think of Luis Gohmert.
The rest including mine - John Culberson (Vise chair of something - sold out to the leadership) - are some shade of RINO
Bill Bennett’s show.
I think I heard your conversation with Rino Bennett. What struck me was Rino Bennet’s exceeding desire to foist BIG G’ment dictatorship through his buddies on the rest of us.
For an educated man, Bennett does a great job of brainwashing us.
I enjoyed listening to you not give an inch on the Jebster
Normally, when a candidate declares he or she is running for the Presidency, it usually starts with a big "kickoff" public rally, followed by a real bus tour with public rallies along the way and photo ops at many local restaurants during the tour.
Instead, Hillary Clinton does the exact opposite, making her look like the Teresa Heinz-Kerry of 2004--elitist, aloof and arrogant to a fault. No wonder why the Left are miffed at the whole thing and everyone else ridiculed it. If she keeps it up like this the MSM may start to seriously consider giving up on her by the Summer Solstice--in 2015.
In addition to Marxism being non Biblical it is inefficient economically. It has no way to reward the producers like capitalism does and actually punishes them for their success.
Marxism only rewards those who attain power as we see with the Clintons, Reids and Pelosis. Marxism rewards corruption.
So I’m sitting here kind of mellow and thought I’d share my thoughts on the current crop of presidential/vice-presidential nominees now all coming forward.
I include this “vice-presidential” thing because do not be fooled, they are auditioning for this part, especially one who would be perfect for the job, more on this later.
Okay, the Republican possible/probable contenders. NJ’s Christy, Rubio, Cruz, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorino, John Kasich (who threw in his bid this very Sunday morning), Lindsay Graham, Walker, Mike Huckabee, Donald Trump..
Ted Cruz is going to get the nomination, I predict. Bearing in mind I’m right on predictions about as often as Dick Morris.
I think Carly Fiorino would be a perfect VP choice for any of the guys currently trying to get the nod. I really do.
I know she’s from California, suspect that right there. But she’s bright, speaks well, could be a nod to the nutty GOPe. Meanwhile Carly’s got visions of a presidency in her mind and it’s time, like it of not, for a woman to be president. And it ain’t gonna be Hillary, give me a break.
I like Rubio though he shot himself in the foot with his immigration stance. There’s way more to our immigration issues out here in la-la land than the GOP Blue Blood elite want to try to understand. If he somehow could recover from that gaffe I rather like Rubio.
I mentally have Walker in a tie with Rubio but I dunno, Walker has immigration mumble-mumbles in his past. I’m sticking with a tie between those two in terms of odds.
Donald Trump is a publicity hound, don’t tell me not. John Kasich is seeking a quick and slick VP nomination. Mike Huckabee, hey I really believe this guy got fired from Fox due to his Saturday show not doing too well. To save face they allowed him to say he’s running for President and he HAD to quit the Fox gig.
Christy of NJ could slip into (well he’d need a little grease) a VP slot....I bet Christy imagines himself as a Dick Cheney sort, the scary behind the smile.
I’m saying Lindsay Graham is looking for a VP slot or maybe a gig on Fox news.
As for Jeb Bush.....he’s formidable, I’ve no doubt. He’s got the bucks. If he could somehow get a VP that helped calm the base....well even with that I don’t think he’d make it. But I dunno...a Jeb Bush/Ted Cruz ticket? It’s a stretch but only something like that would have me voting for Jeb Bush.
That’s my take on the Republicans.
Want to me to do the Democrats?
It's a tightrope. I'd like to go on again so you can't blast him out of the water but like you said can't give in either.
These guys have to realize that Rubio is a tough sell to true conservatives but Bush is a near impossible sell. Some Hosts really don't like too much caller opposition but sometimes you have to tell what is on your mind.
What is killing us is the mentality by mainstream GOPers that true conservatives just can't win.
I oppose that all the time with everything I have. The mentality is based on scare tactics by the msm and little else.
Truth is we aren't going to get any lib votes to begin with. So the election usually turns on the indys or middle of the roaders. They usually have half a brain and pressed with a pick of say hildabeast or Ted Cruz they can see that she is the wrong way to go for the country. But the GOP is scared to go there so we get McCain,Romney Dole or whatever.
Some say if linda runs, she’ll be a stalking horse for Jebbie. I can see that.
linda is a queer, it’s just that simple.
Or a Maniac?
That IS what someone from Maine is called, no?
Dude...
That’s not rare here at all.
We call it Summer.
And to top it off, we NEVER get those cooling ocean breezes like some people lucky enough to live down in the “fisherman’s paradise” islands of far south Florida!
Thanks for thread A. B.
Great article (as usual) Bray. Some day, some way we will get traction. Some of this will start to stick - No Thanks to evil, complicit media
Here's an idea—this is for the entire Bush family...
Hey, Bush clan, you've done so well! Not one but TWO Presidents of the United States! What an honor. Unbelievable—like a fantasy come true.
BUT—two is enough. Look, there are 320 million people in the United States. I know most wouldn't want to be president, let alone do a good job in that role, but your great family has done enough. Time for new blood.
For you and your family, live it up! You can sit on the deck at your fancy Maine mansion over looking the ocean, ride around in expensive boats and fish all summer long.
In winter you can ride horses in South Texas or Florida and sip Pina Coladas on Palm Beach or Padre Island while the rest of the Northerners freeze.
You don't have to work! You've got millions of dollars—maybe billions in your family fortune. Buy Babs, Mom or Granma--whatever fits--new pearls. Have some fun with your money! You already have what 99.999 percent of the rest of us do not. We thank you for your previous help running the country, but your time has passed and your philosophy has drifted to far to the Left.
“Hippie to Sen Lee:”
I particularly liked San. Lee’s retort regarding the constitution - Not a living document - It has been revised through amendments that were voted on by 2/3rds of the stated.
NOT by some dictator’s current commie interpretation to suite their current power trip
If the Senate already has the Constitutional authority to ratify a treaty but they are requesting, via this bill, for the authority to review the arrangement with Iran, they have tacitly accepted that said arrangement is not a treaty.
Isn't it at the very least worthy of an amendment to the bill when it comes to the floor?
One would think so. But I very much doubt that one will be forthcoming.
“Truth is we aren’t going to get any lib votes to begin with. So the election usually turns on the indys or middle of the roaders.”
I see it a bit differently - Reagen was able to get a very large number of people to vote FOR him. Reagan did not waffle.
Today that leaves Sen. Ted Cruz as the Reagen of the current generation.
All the rest waffle - some more then others
Sen. Cruz will get a large number of people voting for him.
Even though the propaganda arms of the BIG G’ment are trying very hard to keep him of the air waves.\
I certainly see where Sen. Cruz will target his advertising in a strategic maner for both us old people
and the younger crowd that has seen commie Obama’s miserable economy up close and personal
Thanks, Alas! That photo is an absolute riot. Perfect for this week’s Sunday shows.
