“What’s unusual about the new deployment, which set out this week, is that the Iranians are not trying to conceal it, officials said. Instead, they appear to be trying to “communicate it” to the U.S. and its allies in the Gulf.”

Well, now that obama knows, I’m sure he can negotiate an escort for them.

This would be a wonderful opportunity for a deniable submarine attack...if we had a president with balls.

The entire Middle East nation armies are certainly testing just what their capabilities are both operating together as nations and separately, on land, sea, and air.........

Thank goodness we have a leader with proven abilities and the Nobel Peace Prize. His accomplishments are many and Yemen is a model for policies that work.

I’ll take “because Iran views the Saudi military as weak and suspects the U.S. lacks the willpower to support its Gulf ally. “ for $100 Alex.

-——“We’re assisting the Saudis to protect their own territory and to conduct operations that are designed to lead ultimately to a political settlement to Yemen,” said Defense Secretary Ashton Carter on Thursday.———

A political settlement ???

I am now definitely convinced there has been a MUCH BIGGER scheme deliberately designed to all this madness, since 2011 at least.

They are further pushing the M.E. and North Africa towards a total war.

Iraq was a proxy war fought between Saudi Arabia & Iran for a decade since Saddam’s removal. ISIS suddenly & seemingly comes out of the woodworks since about this time last year.

This won’t bode well for anyone. It’s further fueling much instability.

Interesting to see if Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia are going to school Iran in the importance of air power during Naval operations.

Obama will do nothing. Iran will sink the Saudi/Egyptian Fleet and deliever the guns and rockets to their people. Aden will become a Major Naval Base for the Iranians. Obama will go to the UN and complain. Iran will set up a “Peace Committee” to give them more time to take over. Egypt has its own problems—Saudi Arabia will be forced to stop the air attacks for the “peace process and humanitarian reasons.” People will party in Iran—Next they will march on Kuwait.

Exactly.

It's not just Iran vs Saudi Arabia. Egypt, Jordan, the UAE and more are mobilized.

Yemen is a very bad place for Iran to make a stand. Their military strength does not lie in their Navy or Air Force. The Saudis weaknesses are Egypt's strengths, so if they have the will, Iran won't have a chance in Yemen, IMHO.

Then there's the fact that the Arab Coalition's interests now coincide with those of.......Israel.

Big mistake for the Iranians to move these buckets of bolts into the area.

What if Iran saved the lives of those Americans that Obama abandoned?

...make for some good propaganda and embarrass the USA/Obama at the same time.

First let Iran do their thing and burn Saudi Arabia to the ground.
