Is this guy the same Shuster of “Interstate 99” infamy?
Apparently he wanted that number because it was “nifty” despite the fact that it violates the AASHTO grid?
Maybe they should go back and fit the most logical number for it, I suggest Interstate 976 and then they can call it the Shuster Expressway if not done so already. ha
“but said she doesnt lobby him.”
No, she just ***** his ****. Other than that there is no influence on him whatsoever.

This guy and his father have controlled a Congressional district in south central Pennsylvania since the 1960s.
If you ever travel the Pennsylvania Turnpike and I-70 and have wondered why a full, logical interchange at Breezewood has never been constructed to permit the free flow of traffic between Baltimore and Washington on the one hand and Pittsburgh or Wheeling and points west on the other hand, thank the Shusters. They have used their power to protect the various merchants, restaurant owners, truck stops and motels in Breezewood.
(For those from other parts of the country who may never have experienced Breezewood, the I-70 from Maryland runs north for 23 miles into Pennsylvania until dead-ending in a “T” intersection with US 30; almost two miles south of that point, you would have passed under the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76), and you would have asked yourself, why didn’t the authorities ever build an interchange there). During the summer, traffic can back up for miles at this intersection. Then, after sitting through what seems like a five minute traffic light (no right turn on red), you turn right onto US 30, and then go for almost a mile through a tacky tourist trap of various facilities, until you reach the ramp to access the Turnpike in both directions. The ramp is about 2 miles long, with a toll barrier between you and the actual entrances to I-76.
I used to make this trip from the DC area to northern Indiana 2-3 times a year, and Breezewood always drove me crazy. When I-68 opened in Maryland some years ago, allowing motorists to take about a 60 mile detour to get out to I-79 at Morgantown, WV and thereby bypass Breezewood and the PA Turnpike, it became surprisingly popular.)
Weird.
Tony Bennett in drag?
Thnx for the additional picture.
Now, I’m convinced (((”That’s Friggin Tony Bennett”))) in drag! !!!
Scary. And I though the recent pix of Bruce Jenner were bad.
Micro-agression!!!
Hollywood would make a movie about their romance.
