Barry Goldwater was a great disappointment to conservatives. His current acolytes in the Senate are McCain, who succeeded him, AND Flake, who once ran the Goldwater Institute. Both are of course flakes.
It’s not so much a “problem” for the sheeple but a sign of their moral decline.
I absolutely agree that traditional western values are to our benefit. How we preserve those values with that objective in mind are a subject for reasonable debate.
I worry that by being so attuned to what Caesar is doing this week or next that we become of Caesar rather than of God. I think prolife Inc. is a perfect example of that dynamic in action.
Everyone knows a gay person and no one wants to offend, especially when running for president. It is a slippery slope, because we are losing the ability to allow dissent.
Bears repeating.

AHHHHHHHH
Wrong answer.
To my knowledge, there is but ONE (complex) creature on God’s green Earth, that reproduces nearly asexually: It’s some kind of lizard or reptile, where ALL the individuals of the specie are female.
Therefore, they reproduce by Parthenogenesis, but a form of “lesbian sex” is required to set the process in motion...

Turns out there are other animals that perform similar processes, but not as clear-cut as the NM whiptail lizard:

All they would need to do is expose the male queer lifestyle for what it is—coprophilic behavior and the diseases that go with it. Just tell the truth and the science.
Marco "The Rube" Rubio.
Finding NEW and EXCITING ways to DISCONNECT from the VOTING PUBLIC.
He is off my list as well.
This reminds me of all of those gotcha abortion questions that are always put to conservative candidates. Why don’t they ever ask those tough questions of liberal candidates?
Will conservatives get together and make up a list of all of the gotcha questions that the liberal media is likely to ask including the personal ones such as the question put to Marco Rubio? We know how these people think by now, they are tricky in every way. So why not put ourselves in their heads and brainstorm—If I were a liberal what would I ask to trip up a conservative?
They are going to ask about homosexuality. Such as:
What would you do/how would you feel if your child announced that he or she were gay?
If your child said that they felt like they were the opposite sex, what would you do?
If your daughter/wife wanted an abortion, what would you do?
If your daughter/wife was raped and wanted an abortion, what would you do?
On to other things:
Do you believe in creationism or evolution?
That is all I can think of right now, but I believe that many freepers could come up with their own trick question.
The devil knew this way back in the garden of Eden. That was the second act of propaganda/seduction. The first was the seduction of the angels. The more I look at the story of the garden of Eden in regards to current events, the more I am amazed by its deep truths and insights into the human condition that we suffer through today.
Rubio went for the bait which means there will be plenty more of these trap questions in the future, since it worked so well against Rubio. When one conservative folds it makes it much more difficult for all the other conservatives as the liberal media will pit one conservative against the other, sort of like a row of dominoes—hit one domino and all the others fall.
If Rubio swatted the question away and all other irrelevant questions as well the liberal media would get tired of this game because they would see that it does not work for them. I have seen many liberal politicians dancing away from question that they do not wish to answer.
Why don’t conservatives take a page from the liberals book. Conservatives do not have to be dishonest but they do not have to be “as wise as serpents, as harmless as doves.”
Maybe he should have said that he wouldn’t attend the religious ceremony - (do many gay people even have religious ceremonies?) - but he’d attend the reception.
Sort of like the Pizza people, who said that anyone could come into their restaurant and be served, but that they wouldn’t cater a gay wedding....(even though they don’t cater weddings in the first place...)
Jeez. I wouldn’t vote for Rubio for president; but the way people are being forced to jump through these hypothetical hoops is ridiculous, and stupidly distracting.

I don't see what purpose that would serve.
Perhaps clarify where you actually stand on the matter.
That ain't gonna happen. Conservatives have to learn how to not take the bait.
