Yep. That was a throw-away item anyway, and now they have data. You don't get much data from perfect landings. Screwups without endangering humans is a good thing.

Absolutely!

I think it's wonderful they're trying, much less got this close. That thing looked pretty stable coming in.

Maybe they just need some big drones to tether it as it's coming down. 3D tugboats. ;-)
