Who decides whether a character is GLB(T)? Particularly when there is no sexual content or clearly indicated same-sex inclination?
Is Scar gay in "The Lion King," or just effete? He didn't sire any cubs after killing his brother Mufasa and exiling his nephew Simba, but that may simply have been because the pride's lionesses couldn't stand him.
Is Mulan lesbian? (Probably not, based on the double-takes she makes at the drill instructor guy.)
Is Elsa of "Frozen" lesbian? "No one was getting ANYwhere with her," the villainous Prince Hans explains.
These questions are impossible to answer objectively.
In Lion Prides, brother lions share fatherhood in the Pride, Scar could be the father of some of the lions in the group, and some could be Mufasas, and we wouldn’t know none the wiser. He might even be the father of Nala, but yeah, incest isn’t so taboo with lions.
Elsa can’t touch people without giving them frostbite, so nobody wants to touch her.
Mulan really had a thing for the Captain, so I doubt it.
