I love Mexican food, but I don’t love Chipotle at all. In fact, I don’t get the whole Chipotle thing. People in my office do love it, so I have begrudgingly eaten there many times. To me it’s just okay. In my mind the only thing that distinguishes it from all the other fresh Mexican places is its nondescript industrial atmosphere. I don’t hate it, but I certainly don’t understand the hype it engenders among so many people.

It will be an ordeal, truly, to wade through these countless stories, and postings, and comments, and analyses, about THAT WOMAN!!! I know a lot of people who swear by Chipotle. Never eaten there myself.
The mass cultural obsession with utterly trivial nonsense -- like politicians eating at a particular fast food joint -- is yet another indication of the utter shallowness of modern society.

Chipotle is OK, but you can get better Mexican food in my area at the Little Caboose Taco Shop in Anaheim, El Tepeyac in La Puente or Boyle Heights, or any of the King Taco eateries.
