Why not scream the race of those involved? Wait........ its not white on black. OK, nothing to see here, move along!
I didn’t want to watch the video, but I assume it’s black on black. If so, forget it - black women are called “race traitors” for complaining about such minor things as rape and beatings.
If it’s black on white, and the victim was white, also forget about it.
I remember one time when, early on in her career, Alice Walker, a black and ultimately leftist author (but one who was originally very interested in Flannery O’Connor), gave an account of a white friend of hers who had been raped by a black man in an organization for which she was volunteering. The white woman wouldn’t complain because she said it would make blacks look bad, and at that point in her career, Alice Walker said that it was racist to refuse to point out bad behavior by a black individual, because it meant that you secretly thought that all black people were like that.
Of course, Alice Walker changed and became very PC, but she had some good insights before that. And I thought that was one of them.
