Anyone who thinks throwing tokens into college classes will make them “civilized” is a fool; I honestly believe that it is just a ploy to try to get them to forego children for a few more years. It isn’t like they graduate with meaningful degrees; a token with a business degree can do little more than file.
For me it meant mornings off before I headed to my FT job...
I do regret working FT in college (six days per week), but I had almost no debt when I graduated.
I went to Spring Break in Florida one year but I went with Campus Crusade for Christ. Great oppertunity to evangelize!
Post 10 is correct
both Boards of Education and County Commissioners.
I wonder how many spring break dollars come from these student loans and government educational grants??
“Its not smart for women to drink till theyre passed out.
Hannitys coverage of spring break warned how unsafe it is.”
Those stupid women should know better than to drink so much
they pass out. You never know when those innocent kind hearted
rapists may walk by and have to rape them. To keep this
from ever happening again all women should be banned from
drinking. And to ensure that the temptation is never aroused
they should be covered from head to toe and their faces
covered from the eyes down. That would be the perfect society/S.
Or how many of those kids are actually in college?
Hell... dogcatcher, PTA president, and chairman of the Public Library commitee too. Start local and go from there.
Good outside the box point, plausible. But do you really think
the people who got them into college are smart enough be
able to think of “a ploy to try to get them to forego children for a few more years.” As for the “can do little more than file.” Who only hires the truly unemployable?
The government.
obammie kin
I never went to spring break but I did a campus crusade summer project on the Jersey shore in the mid ‘80’s
And ended up married to a girl I met at our campus meetings.
Must have been a couple of those Campus Republicans opening up another front in the war on women! /s
“One solution is volunteer students who police the beach like the Guardian Angels.”
They would just stand there and watch the thugs beat the crap
out of them. The cops want a drinking ban. They are not going
to play backup to a bunch of “Guardian Angels”. The best
thing to do is put undercover cops in the crowd and crack
down from within. But the cops want a drinking ban.
SAFETY POLICE
The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) provided strong security coverage during the 2015 Carnival season, from Feb. 6 to Feb. 17. Every officer was on duty and working, with a majority of officers either putting in 12-hour shifts in a police district or a minimum of 8-hour shifts along the parade route. During the 12-day period, NOPD put in a total of 58,090 manpower hours compared to 55,700 in 2014.
“Our officers put in long hours over the past 12 days and did an outstanding job of ensuring the safety of our residents and visitors along the parade route and across the city. With the help of our local, state and federal partners, we executed a strong security plan that led to a safe and successful Carnival season, said NOPD Superintendent Michael Harrison.
NOPD was complemented by 150 Louisiana State Police Troopers, along with members of partners law enforcement agencies, including: Orleans Parish Sheriffs Office, UNO Police, Tulane University Police, Louisiana Department of Corrections, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriffs Office, U.S. Marshals Service and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
In total, the NOPD made 443 arrests in the Eighth District and along the parade route compared to 501 during the 2014 Mardi Gras season. In the NOPD Eighth District alone, which includes the French Quarter, Marigny, and Central Business District, officers responded to approximately 3,250 calls for service and made 366 arrests, compared to 2,900 calls for service and 421 arrests during the Mardi Gras 2014 season. The arrest numbers in the Eighth District represent a continued decline in the number of arrests made in the past four years during the Carnival season thanks to strong police presence and cooperation from the public. In addition, solid police work and proactive patrolling led police to make a total of 16 gun arrests and take a total of 14 guns off the streets.

But the cops want a drinking ban.
Yeah. Unfortunately the stupid react to common sense with anger.
A few years back after a string of rapes at UofM the Ann Arbor police chief suggested that female students not be out alone all hours of the night while staggering drunk.
The feminazis reacted as expected. They held a topless “slutwalk”, screamed about misogyny, and started a “Teach men not to rape” campaign.
nobody should be banned from drinking and showing skin.
just like nobody should be banned from walking the streets drunk with a clear bag full of $100s.
or running through wolf country alone with a crate of meat.
that’s their gamble
but if they happen to one day stumble upon a hungry wolf or two who take what they’re showing, you CAN’T say they didn’t eventually have it coming and took a stupid pointless risk for some thrills
yea, you feel bad for the victim. but in the way you feel bad for a drunk driver going into a pole or a drug user injecting garbage. sad but not some kind of shocking tragedy.
Yeah multiple, as in: More than one. Got it?
where are the leaders?...
school boards are made up of teacher advocates, not child advocates..
The guy on the left is gone. He’s just cold.
