“When i was 10 y/o my brother told me about homos and what they do.”

I was a Seminary student in the late ‘60s. A couple of my dorm friends put in a permission slip to rent an apartment off campus. One bedroom. One bed. The Dean Of Women would not approve, “due to the rising trend in homosexuality”. None of us had heard that word; none of us knew what it was. We looked it up. ewwww.

There was a more innocent time when people didn't think about homosexuality as an option. I remember mom saying back in her day, the boys were shy about dancing so the girls would couple up and dance. In her day, it was couple dancing, you know holding hands and one around someone's waist. They never thought a thing about it, never entered their head that anyone was "gay".
