Francesca Hogi, 40, had settled into her aisle seat for the flight from New York to London when the man assigned to the adjoining window seat arrived and refused to sit down. He said his religion prevented him from sitting beside a woman who was not his wife. Irritated but eager to get underway, she eventually agreed to move.

Yep, in the landing gear well.
.
The very same Phariseeism that Yeshua had to contend with during his brief life down here.

That is the largest font your / you’re error I have seen. Congrats.
A picture of a pig, a dog, pork chops.
I will move so that a mother can sit next to her young child. That is the only reason. Otherwise, if a person doesn’t like me, they are the ones that need to move. And if I catch on that they don’t like me, they had better move, or they won’t like their flight much.
I would tell them that I not only paid for the seat, I specifically chose it before hand, so the answer is “no” unless they upgrade me to first class if I’m not already sitting there. She should have said let him stand up.
Simple response to someone wanting you to change your seat for this reason: go f yourself.
Now, a stressed mom with toddlers, flying alone, needs help,I’d move for that. Someone needs to sit closer to an elderly person that needs help? Sure.
OMG ROFL Thank you - what a way to start one’s day with a hearty laugh.
Modern America, drowning in multiculturalism.
Well actually if it had been me I would have told the flight attendant that if they agreed to announce over the PA system that a Christian was being asked to move because a Muslim refused to sit next to them then I would move.
There is an easy solution to the problem. If you want to control who sits next to you, purchase both seats.
