Scott Walker slams back at Obama

Possible presidential contender Scott Walker came out swinging on national television against President Obama, who had publicly suggested the Wisconsin governor was “foolish” for taking a hardline stance on nuclear negotiations with Iran.

The public tiff took off when Walker simply said he would not agree to any nuclear deal with Iran that allowed the country to enrich uranium – and Obama couldn’t let the comment go. The president said Walker had adopted a “foolish approach,” and added: “Perhaps Mr. Walker, after he’s taken some time to bone up on foreign policy, will feel the same way.”

Walker, late Wednesday evening on “Hannity” on Fox News, responded with blunt words........."

““The thing about that statement, this is a guy in the last year who called ISIS the JV squad, who called Yemen just last fall … a success story [who] had a secretary of state under Hillary Clinton that gave Russia a reset button and then they ultimately went into the Ukraine, this is a guy who I think shouldn’t have the audacity to be schooling anyone on foreign policy,” he said.”

You got to give it to Walker. He doesn’t take this crap lying down. By responding, Obama elevates Walker to his level and also looks like a petulant child. Win win.

Walker.. Cruz.. Paul.. Fiorina.. I love how these folks thrive on the opportunity to jam the dems’ BS back in their faces. Unlike do many on the GOP side, they are not awed by Hillary, Obama or any other dem. Rather, they’re mildly amused.

You are exactly right. When Obama called Walker out, I'm guessing the "Walker Camp" was jumping for joy upon hearing about it. As for the response, well we could go on all day and list how wrong Obama has been about everything in the foreign policy arena. The response is just too easy to craft....

Obama seems unable to restrain himself. On the downhill slope of his time in office, Obama best serves himself and the Dems by trying to boost his approval rating and the strength of the economy. It is hard to imagine a competent political professional recommending that Obama take shots at any of the GOP candidates. In doing so, Obama diminishes himself and elevates the candidate whom he attacks because the news media usually gives the candidate a chance to reply and, in effect, briefly share the country’s attention with Obama.

For too long Republicans have been timid. It’s great to see Walker punch back and be aggressive. Time to scrap the defense and go on offense. Let the Dems and mainstream media shiver.

‘Pathological’ narcissism will do that to ‘ya .... Obama is so thin-skinned and threatened by Walker that he just couldn’t help himself. I’m sure he particularly hates Walker as well because Walker has pretty much destroyed the union machine in his state & beat the Dems/Unions on several occasions. He’s fearless, something ‘Obama the Pantywaist’ is not.

Good interview with Walker. Hannity went to immigration in it, and Walker did an excellent job.

It sounds like what's being said was that any previous thoughts on immigration were as a relatively untouched governor of a northern state. So, he went to the border states, to the police, both state and local, to the state border people and to the governors themselves.

By and large a good move. He clearly stated ZERO action on anything until we get closed border and control of any kind of immigration or visa. After that he'll talk about only a legal system and even that will be connected to unemployment and the economy.

So, good answer. Glad he went and did his homework.

We are seeing foreign policy conducted by a community organizer...he might as well put ACORN in charge of it...but he got a real pro to help him, a 60’s flower child throwback in the form of John Kerry (who served in Vietnam). Obama is an EASY target for the likes of Scott Walker the more he tries to defend his failure to “protect and defend” the greater target he becomes. The real problem is bigger ... He is making US an easier target for those that are shouting for our death. He is moving from incompetent to dangerous.

Correct. The DNC strategy is likely to be to hit the leading GOP presidential candidates early and often in order to establish lines of attack to be used against the eventual nominee in the general election campaign. Obama was likely briefed that Walker would be a formidable candidate, with a lack of foreign policy experience being one of his weaknesses, so Obama pops off at Walker.

He hasn’t even mentioned Benghazi yet, where thanks to Obozo/Clinton incompetence/intransigence the US ambassador was sodomized, murdered and had his body dragged through the streets like a common vagabond, not to mention 4 brave US A soldiers killed and the US embassy burned down

If I were Obama, I wouldn’t. His record on foreign affairs is abysmal. He makes it really for Walker (or anyone else) to hit back hard

So far we got at least 3 candidates who are willing to stick it to the media- that’s promising

Last election I was sick to death over the endless ‘debates’ where libtards asked stupid questions and the candidates all bad-mouthed each other to oblivion
