Washington (CNN)A U.S. military campaign against Iran's nuclear facilities would only take "several days" of bombing, Sen. Tom Cotton said Tuesday.

Too many. We are still in S. Korea, protecting their border while ours is being invaded.
Cotton is a good man.
Maybe, but favors us launching another war in the Middle East, with unpredictable consequences. In other words, he’s following the example of Bush, not Reagan.
Bush is a good man. But he gave Obama through his stupidity in invading Iraq.
How many years out of the lives of most living Americans have we been involved in some costly war in a far off place, that had nothing to do with making the USA a better nation. BTW I don’t care about other nations or these foreign entanglements that Washington warned us about..
You are right about Reagan. Almost all of the others had us involved in a war ...why? To prove their CinC status or something?
While the USA is pxssing away our money and economy and young lives, and creating disabled young lives, our global competitors are eating our lunch creating new markets and products, while we go into debt. I blame much on the profiteers who manipulate the politicians, media and propaganda.
I like everything about Cruz—except I wonder about his support for Israel. Does he support Israel because it’s the only civilized country in the Middle East? Or does he support it on some theological grounds—i.e., that it is God’s will that the Jews live in the Holy Land? Or that the end times are near, and the U.S. has a biblically-determined rle to play in bringing it about? Because there certainly ARE some prominent Christian preachers pushing that belief.
“Iraq is as big and in less than three weeks we wiped out a large percentage of their command and control sectors before ground troops ever went in.”
Iran is 81 million and Iraq 32 million, and Iran is about twice as large. Does that mean we’ll be in Iran for 20 years for cake walk #2? The Middle East is not the USA’s problem and much less concern now that we have our own energy. Let those that live in the neighborhood sacrifice their money and kids to solve their own problems. I’m tired of paying taxes to be a sugar daddy.
We’re broke, remember, and that restricts our ability to do much of anything including maintaining a successful viable 1st world country with up to date infrastructure. Why have we allowed ourselves to become clueless serfs to the terrorist propagandists that want to get rich off of our servicemen and what we have left.
I agree that invading Iraq was a bad mistake.
I’ve lost a lot of respect for Bush for many reasons.
