With lawmakers preparing to vote on a bill blocking parents from skipping vaccinations for their children, prominent vaccine skeptic Robert F. Kennedy Jr. arrived at the Sacramento screening of a film linking autism to the vaccine preservative thimerosal and warned that public health officials cannot be trusted.
They can put anything they want in that vaccine and they have no accountability for it, said Kennedy, who walked onto and left a Crest Theater stage to standing ovations, of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

I confess I am not a scientist, pseudo or otherwise.
I just don't trust Government. I know the people in power right now believe the world is over-populated and will do anything to reduce it. I think their goal is 500 million. 500 million!Half a billion.
What better way to do it than to inject people with a "flawed" vaccine. Oopsie.
Have you ever noticed how many radio and tv commercials there are out there concering lawsuits aimed at this drug or that?
Every single one of those drugs was APPROVED by The FDA after lengthy and expensive studies.
Besides, the reason those diseases are making a comeback is because of all the unscreened illegals pouring across our border.
If you want to start with mandatory anything, start there.
Except the opposite is happening. For one thing most vaccines are NOT provided by the government. For another the problem is showing up from people NOT getting vaccinated.
Ambulance chasers figured out how they could advertise (most states now don’t let lawyers by commercial time, but you can “announce” a class action lawsuit on TV, with the name of the law firm prominently displayed).
Side effects happen. And often times these suits are based on bad interactions with other drugs, both at extremely high doses.
Unvaccinated people are unvaccinated people. At least illegals have the excuse of coming from a poor country and not being able to afford vaccines. What excuse do anti-vaxiers have?
Kennedys
Can’t Drive
Can’t Fly
Can’t Ski
Can’t Skipper a Boat
...But they know what’s best for us.
I know. That's my whole point. Those diseases were virtually eradicated WITHOUT a government mandate.
For another the problem is showing up from people NOT getting vaccinated.
They're not just "showing up", they're being bused, trained and flown in here by the hundreds of thousands by the very same government you have so much trust in.
Does that not seem the least bit incongruous to you? It does to me and I don't even know what incongruous means.
Let me put it this way. If government, excuse me, Government is so all-fired concerned about our health, why is it flooding us with sick people? Doesn't it seem more likely that it WANTS us to be sick? What better way to make a populace sick than to sicken them?
But again, the reason they didn’t need a government mandate is people were smart enough to get the vaccines without NEEDING a mandate. Now we’ve got a new generation of anti-science idiots lying to themselves and each other about vaccines, not getting their kids vaccinated, and the diseases are back.
Doesn’t matter how they get here, if people weren’t being willfully stupid and deliberately mistreating their kids by refusing vaccinations nobody would be getting them. You can bring in lots of patient zeroes and not get any patient ones if people are vaccinated.
Music to a Liberal politician's/Totalitarian's ears.
We're from the government and we're here to help.
It’s just math. If you really really think we’re importing lots of patient zeroes don’t volunteer to be patient one. Your argument is actually supporting getting vaccinated.
If I THINK we're importing them? What. You haven't heard? You need to watch the news a little more, my brotha. Or sista as the case may be.
I don't necessarily believe everything I read or hear from the newsies but I'm fairly certain those who are reporting about the mass importation of disease riddled illegals are closer to telling us the truth than, say, Brian Williams.
dont volunteer to be patient one.
Good advice.
Your argument is actually supporting getting vaccinated.
I have nothing against vaccines per se. I have a problem with MANDATORY vaccines.
I'm not sure why this is such a stumbling block to you.
If The Government truly is so all-fired concerned about reducing the spread of these diseases illegals are brining into this country, why are they bringing them into this country?
Sleep on that question. Think about it for a while.
Why do they want to force American citizens to get vaccinated and bring in disease-riddled illegals at the same time?
I aks you. Do you trust a Government that behaves like that?
We’ve already covered this ground. People used to just get the vaccines, now they don’t. When they did we eradicated many annoying diseases. Now the diseases are back. If people are going to be deliberately stupid they shouldn’t be surprised when the government decides to demand they not be stupid. And all your whining about illegals is simply besides the point. It’s apples and chickens as a friend of mine likes to say. If people were being responsible and getting their vaccines the rest wouldn’t matter. At least not on the disease front. They aren’t, so they’re sewing the ground for problems.
Wow.
I didn’t deny anything. It’s besides the point. Apples and chickens. Strawman. Has nothing to do with the fact that people who don’t get their kids vaccinated are idiots.
If it’s okay for illegals (let’s call them chickens) to come here without being vaccinated, why is it not okay for American citizens (let’s call them apples) to not get their children vaccinated?
Didn’t say that either. For purposes of the question of whether or not people should be getting vaccinated all questions about illegals are as useful and on point as questions about water on Mars.
Heh. Good one.
Have a wonderful day.
He said “mandatory”, but I disagree with the “no one is foolish” comment, people still smoke despite the evidence of what happens
But they aren’t mandatory vaccinating to prevent polio, its for the measles..that makes a huge difference
