You know, all the mouth-breathing idiots here who were rooting for Chuy really piss me off. Lots of comments like “Let Chicago burn” and other crap like that.
Anyone who cares about Chicago or anyone who lives here should be glad Garcia lost, period. Anyone who doesn’t can eat me and mind their own business.
Now make no mistake, Rahm is a scumsucker of the highest order, it sickened me to vote for him and I couldn’t bring myself to do it in the first round even though I knew I should have. But a scumsucker of the highest order is better than a borderline retarded progressive-Leninist with possible gang ties (so I hear) who would have destroyed this city. Rahm is an ***hole corrupt thug. Chuy is a cross between Emperor Nero, Raul Castro, and a demented homeless octogenarian.
Unions were for Chuy. Go check out DU, there are in tears, ALL of them are for Chuy. This isn’t rocket science, the least bad option (and this is CHICAGO, it’s gonna be bad vs. worse) was crystal clear.
I don’t deserve Chuy Garcia. The normal people in this city don’t deserve to rot so people hundreds of miles away can have a laugh.
There probably hasn’t been a halfway decent Mayor (Reformist) since Martin Kennelly (1947-55) or William Dever (1923-27), both Democrats. The only two Republicans elected since after 1897, Fred Busse (1907-11) and Big Bill Thompson (1915-23; 1927-31) ran exceptionally corrupt regimes (or simply chose to look the other way while organized crime ran roughshod).
Personally, I could not have gotten myself to vote for Emanuel, but folks here don’t understand electing a Chicano Communist in Garcia would’ve made a bad situation even worse.
Rahm’s ballot stuffers were better than Garcia’s ballot stuffers.

I’ll pose this: How many mouth-breathers on here indulge in the crap they allegedly are against? Stuff like: Being an illegal, hiring an illegal, profiting off of illegal labor, receiving “crazy checks”, dealing drugs, etc., etc., etc. They are hypocrites that shouldn’t be allowed to reproduce.
With such wonderful friends, it makes you refocus on who the enemies really are.
Just proof that blacks prefer the plantation.
So the road to bankruptcy and the continued slaughter of blacks by other blacks will continue in Chicagone.

Yeah nothing decent since King Daley I came to power. Speaking of which, Patrick Daley Thompson (Aka Kathleen Kennedy Townson), a female line grandson was just elected Alderman of the 11th Ward.
We all know Big Bill Thompson was Capone’s boy, while hilariously claiming to be reformer. I love his racist attack on Anton Cermak though, “Can you picture a World’s Fair Mayor with a name like that?” What ever happed to World’s Fairs?
Busse was corrupt too? Well. It’s not like a glorious past would be much help to city Republicans anyway.
I am aware of only 1 Republican that ran for Alderman, John Garrido, who was robbed last time, was again defeated by rat John Arena. The rat lady who took Ward 41 last time when GOP Alderman Dohrety stood down was defeated by a worse democrat even as Rahm crushed Chuy in the ward, poor constituent services were the cause.
My Ward was hardcore Chuy territory (ethnic loyalty) were were blanketed in signs and flyers. Rahm’s best wards were 42 (Near North, only Ward to vote for Rauner in 2014) and 43 (Lincoln Park) where he topped 80%.

Some of them do understand, and some of them want that. Those are people that piss me off. The others are just ignorant. They must think Rahm was running against Ted Cruz or something.

Jesus Garcia was a far-left Bill deBlasio type, but it would have been fun to see Emmanuel and the Democratic establishment embarrassed in such a huge way.

Well, it seems that the winner in Ward 41, who ran to the left of the incumbent rat, is a actually a RINO.
