I didn’t get married until I was 34 and I still had five sons.
Sometimes it takes time to find the right woman, or even someone willing to participate.
As I always say “Willingness to participate adds lots of points!”
Young men have also been getting vasectomies so as not to be trapped in the child support cycle. Can’t say as I blame them either.
What are you talking about? I’m talking about this stupid generation of mine. GW and AL were men. Not children. Their actions, writings, and reputed demeanor all testify to that fact.
We have turned our young ladies into whores and told them it was for their own sexual liberation. However, the only ones liberated are the men who can have all the benefits of marriage with none of the responsibilities.
The modern woman has sold all their power and femininity cheap and they are being treated as they are, cheap.
No, the real issue is that they’re smart enough to realize the game has been rigged against them. Ever seen what happens to men in divorce court?

I work with women, many young women, and they WANT to get married and most of them want children and they want to stay home to raise them...
sadly, their boyfriends have crappy jobs with no security, or they lack ambition, or don't work at all....
you see there's consequences to our "boys" spending their youth in front of their computers having a sex life..

“Trades”—perfect: anything and/or everything from repairing their own possessions, to making parts, to electronics, to open source design equipment to home construction. Many young women, though a small, dispersed portion of the population, are also being trained to ditch romanticism, become self-sufficient and be absolutely loyal to family. After the end of the default/repudiation process, nothing will stand in their way. Low-techs will rule.

And you’d probably be making a huge mistake. They probably have had 10 to 20 guys before you, are only interested in you because of your money, once they have kids they will cheat on you and dump you and then take everything you have in the divorce courts.
It works even better if you don't find a job. And that's the reality for many graduates who picked fashionable education instead of useful one.

How I pity the normal man. He’s either doomed to a life of no sex or sex with women who are not suitable for more than a few lively pumps. Some men may get lucky and find the unicorn who wants to have a family before the age of 25, but for the most of you, your best option is to tattoo the bad boy mask on your face to at least have some semblance of a normal sex life. The toxicity of the West is spreading at such a rate around the world that being the emotionally damaged man, or at least simulating his behavior, is the best option for having any intimacy with women at all, no matter how deficient they are as compared to the days of our grandfathers. I guess you can say that this is not a good time for normal men to be living in.

It has a lot less to do with the roles she played and a lot more to do with the fact that she’s had a number of real-life incidents that mark her as less than stable.
As a hetero man with other hetero male friends, I can say that most men don’t mind women with a past so long as 1) that past does not involve significant crazy and 2) it’s *past*. Long, long past.

The thing is that men in that age can have their pick of women in their late twenties and often in their early and mid twenties. They often have good jobs, lots of money and a great deal of life experience that is exciting to a woman in her twenties.
Whereas the mid thirties woman has a biological alarm clock clanging full tilt after being put on snooze for a decade and a half. They want marriage or at least a child from a guy they can tap for cash. Now!

Right there is part of the problem. A lot of women read those women’s magazines that contain such articles as “How to make him your ideal mate” or “How to change your man’s bad habits” - things like that. They’re not looking for spouses, they’re looking for *projects.* Now, yes, give and take and compromise is part of a relationship, sure; but these articles basically require the man to give and the woman to do nothing but take.
For example, one article I became aware of detailed numerous strategies ‘guaranteed’ to get ‘your man’ to give up motorcycle riding. Basically, it consisted of nagging, whining, blackmailing and cutting the man off until he complied and sold what was potentially his main solo joy in life. Nothing was mentioned about the woman making any changes to benefit the man, no giving back, no forgoing some activity that she was participating in or even any sort of compensation - no, it was all about breaking the guy’s will so he’d be a doormat for ‘her’ desires. Women are being programmed that guys that they can always run over are the type of man they’re ‘supposed’ to want and they’re always surprised when the limp dishrag they’ve sought out turns out to be unsatisfying and not someone they’d want to spend the rest of their life with.
These articles and advice pages get ‘better’ - best part is when you’re first dating, the woman seems to take great interest in your pursuits and seems to enjoy them with you. Then as the relationship moves on somehow they find it less enjoyable and you’re supposed to give it up and take more after what are now revealed as her interests. This is not necessarily because she’s actually lost interest but because the articles and blogs tell her that the best way to test her man’s love for her is to see if he will give up something that makes up a major part of his life - and then to make him do so.
I’ve been down that road far too many times - at this point, when she starts talking about giving up motorcycles or my British car or my cat (yes, there have been articles in mags like Cosmo and Seventeen that tell women they should make the man get rid of or even put down his pet as a test of his love), she gets shown the door. “They were here before you were and now they will be here long after you leave.” “You love that {item} more than you do me!” “Well, at this point, yes - I do.”
