The New York Post reports Lucie Bauermeister, 23, and Anna Ramotowska, 26, filed suit on Monday in Bronx Supreme Court. The two claim they were "severely injured, both physically and mentally."
Court documents say Bauermeister and Ramotowska are specifically suing Con Ed, 121 Second Ave. landlord Maria Hrynenko, contractor Dilber Kukic and Hyeonil Kim, owner of Sushi Park.
The roommates were able to safely exit their apartment on March 26, and witnessed seeing a severe burn victim and several dramatic last-minute rescues, Jezebel reports.
After being interviewed on Fox 5's "Good Day New York" the day after the seven-alarm fire, Bauermeister posted on Facebook: "Cool to be on TV but bummer my house burnt down." Authorities say the women's building, 129 Second Ave., sustained minimal damage and was reopened to tenants on March 28.

I think they were ‘mentally injured’ BEFORE the blast.
Sadly, they are liable to receive that award, plus punitive damages... then wonder why their utility rates went through the roof.

So marriage by mail was not working for them?
When I first arrived in California in the late 80’s I was working for an insurance agent, there was a clear risk situation with some construction in front of his office at a strip shopping center, I said someone can slip and fall here and get a nice payoff, he said in California we can watch them slip and fall and get paid.
And they want $40 million for THAT ? What about the person who got burned ? Have they even given that person a second thought ?
That's when you stub your toe while drunk, and somebody laughs at you.
I remember seeing a guy whose foot almost got taken off by a lawnmower. There was blood everywhere.
I remember seeing a guy in a car wreck that was so bad the police officer went into shock and nobody thought the guy would even live.
I remember watching a guy saw his finger off with a table saw.
I remember repeatedly seeing a guy have to get stitches in various places on his body.
I SHOULD BE RICH BY NOW.
I WOULD SUE THAT GUY, but he is me.
How do they handle that one week a month? That must be very traumatic.
