Paul said that in order to restore America, the GOP cannot dilute our message or give up on our principles.
If we nominate a candidate who is simply Democrat lite, whats the point? Why bother? he said. We need to boldly proclaim our vision for America. We need to go boldly forth under the banner of liberty that clutches the Constitution in one hand and the Bill of Rights in the other.

Rand stood with dem-lite Mitch McConnell over Bevin...that makes Rand full of bovine excrement. Rand who are you tryin’ to fool?
SEN. TED CRUZ, R-TEXAS:
I’m a big fan of Rand Paul. He and I are good friends. I don’t agree with him on foreign policy. I think U.S. leadership is critical in the world. And I agree with him that we should be very reluctant to deploy military force abroad, but I think there is a vital role, just as Ronald Reagan did. When Ronald Reagan called the Soviet Union an evil empire, when he stood in front of the Brandenburg Gate and said, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall” — those words changed the course of history. The United States has a responsibility to defend our values.
Let’s just hope there will be an election. You can never tell — as my son learned in the photo lab of a daily newspaper: Assume nothing.
LO the same speech which stated this.
“Any law> that disproportionately incarcerates people of color is repealed
Yep you keep reaching out to eh likes of druggies, black gangsters, illegals because we sure know Al Sharpton loves you until you are up against Hillary.
Paul do everyone a favor and just shut the hell up
I can assume Paul is nuts like his father.

Man that speech was kinda weak, the guy that told Cruz “Red meat won’t win elections” leads with “We have to take our country back”. No grand ideas no real substance, just a string of applause seeking one liners. Honestly I expected him to be far more polished. “Who here works for a poor person?” Really, Rand? Look at your constituency in KY, then look in the mirror, because you do and your need to be doing a better job before you can look to the national stage. sorry.. rant off.
Lol... whatever works, I guess.
Flip Flops are not exactly a positive campaign visual, are they?
Constitution on one hand, Bill of Rights in the other. Silly me I thought the Bill of Rights were in the Constitution. First step would be fire the speech writer who wrote this.
They are perfect for a flip-flopping candidate.
Rand Paul is okay...he would be better than the following... Hillary, Squaw Speaking Bull, Ed O’Malley, Michelle Obama, Danell Malloy, Richard ‘ Let’s Sue the ACC’ Blumenthal. Chris ‘I’m dumber then Blumenthal’ Murphy or and Marxists the Dem will run...
Whose? Ours?
You’re right. I was hoping you were being humorous. :)
