I’m so glad to see liberals help the underdog. < /S>
Welcome!
IBTZ?
The author of such an article so full of lies, fraud and deceit must be the real Mayor Koch!
I haven’t seen anything this delusional in a very long time.
In the modern political and economic context, liberalism usually translates into taking higher proportions of other people’s money for unproven social welfare programs.
In the modern political and economic context, conservatism usually translates into giving higher proportions of the conservative’s own money toward social welfare programs chosen by that individual.
Liberals somehow believe that generosity with other people’s money is morally superior to generosity with your own money. Conservatives generally believe that giving away the property of others is theft and highly immoral. There is no room for the two sides even to communicate given the vastly different world views of the two sides. Thieves and productive people will never agree. It’s a question of force, and today’s liberals tend to be totalitarians eager to impose government force on others.

gotta comment on the actual article...
Study after study shows that conservatives are far more giving of their OWN private resources for the welfare of others. This is NOT a “liberal” virtue. And directing the government to rob Peter to pay Paul does NOT make you a “good person”. It makes you a THIEF.
Thank you! I need a diversion today.
Welcome!
I have been a conservative since as a teenager I was awakened from my slumber listening to Ronald Reagan’s “A Time for Choosing Speech” ... I went on to read William F. Buckley, Hayek, Human Events, National Review et al. Against the radical left I encountered in the late 1960’s, a like minded friend and I helped to found Young Americans for Freedom in Pittsburgh, PA. I have been a staunch constitutional conservative ever since. I love Free Republic and have enjoyed reading the posts and responses for over 10 years. A liberal friend sent me the article I posted earlier today. I had planned to engage in the interactions but something came up unexpectedly at work right after I posted and I had to get to there much earlier than planned.
Thanks everyone for the insights. Onward!
LOL
Did anyone tell you about the Double-Secret Probation?
The Viking Kittens will are watching you!

The paradox is that the Internet thinks Kanazawa is a "vicious right-wing nutter" because of his racial views.
Or maybe it's not such a paradox: maybe he's a stupid guy describing himself.
Please let me know if you want ON or OFF my Viking Kitty/ZOT ping list!. . . don't be shy.
