Good evening, Sand...((HUGS))...it’s a nice base. I got shown around the fire station by one of the firefighters. In his off time he was a volunteer in our volunteer department in the city where we lived.
Those trucks that take care of aircraft, etc, fires are HUGE!!! It was cool!

Served at VBG on TDY as a member of a Minuteman launch team. We launched a package down range to the Marianas. The Russians were hovering around offshore, whose movements we had to watch and report, so there are some Russians who have their own memories of VBG as well.
