In my opinion - you are reaching too far.

1. the Black community will still vote 90% Dem.
2. the Black community TURNOUT in key states will NOT be there if there is no Black Pres. Candidate

Things to watch.

The Texas Senate is proposing a law (SB 276) allowing parents to place their children in ANY School AND take the State’s $5,000 with them to help pay for this choice.

If this law passes this year - Next year (2016) could see the Black community in Texas start to vote for Republicans

WEll, I did say that Ted must “break the molds” and you may be correct that my hope for inroads into the black hopes is a bridge too far.

But chalking them up as a lost cause, without making any effort, is unwise, imo. When he announced in Lynchburg, he specifically mentioned the millions of evangelical Christians who failed to vote in 2008 and 2012. There must be some black voters among those millions.
