WEll, I did say that Ted must “break the molds” and you may be correct that my hope for inroads into the black hopes is a bridge too far.
But chalking them up as a lost cause, without making any effort, is unwise, imo. When he announced in Lynchburg, he specifically mentioned the millions of evangelical Christians who failed to vote in 2008 and 2012. There must be some black voters among those millions.

If I recollect correctly - 2008 and 2012 had a very large Black voter turnout.
Identifying with your own kind is/was more important than rational thinking and overcame any religious affiliation.
Identifying with your own king is a VERY strong emotional motivator - Family, tribe, nation
