As far as I know they have a visiting period where lesser Mormons and non-Mormons can visit the Temples before they are completed.

I assume that would include construction specialties that the religion may lack in that area, and city inspectors, and deliveries during construction, all things that take place before the Temple is made official.

Carmel, Indiana will be getting a new temple shortly.

I plan to go there.



(Carmel is one of; if not THE; highest income area in Indiana.)
