JERUSALEM, ISRAEL House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) and a delegation of senior lawmakers have completed a visit to Israel, where they stressed the common bonds between the United States and Israel and the common threats the two countries face.
The delegation began the day with a tour of Hamas terror tunnels on the Gaza border with Gen. Sami Turgeman, commander of the IDF Southern Command. After a working lunch with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, lawmakers met with U.S. Ambassador Daniel Shapiro and Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon.
Similar to the delegations visits to Iraq, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, discussions here focused on the threat of violent extremism and Irans rising influence in the region.
Speaker Boehner issued the following statement on the delegations visit to Israel:
The United States and Israel share the same values and the same interests, none more pressing than defending ourselves against grave and growing threats. In our talks here, we delved into the increasing polarization in the region and the spread of radical Islam. At the Hamas tunnels in Gaza, we saw the security challenges the Israeli people face every day, and the importance of backing missile defense. In our discussions about the Palestinians entry into the International Criminal Court, we saw how Israel s right to defend itself faces yet another challenge. We came here to express Congresss unwavering commitment to our friendship with Israel. We leave with a renewed commitment to make the strong bonds between our countries even stronger.
The delegation joining Speaker Boehner in the Middle East is made up of senior lawmakers charged with oversight of the United States efforts to defeat the terrorist threat and support our partners in the region:

Maybe he could do the same with the Tea Party. Give it a shot John.
obozo must be having a heart attack over this news. How dare they? Did they ask permission of the WH to make the trip and the visits to all those countries? They might be talking about him behind his back. Oh! Mercy! Please say it ain’t so.
I would tell Israel this, it has been observable that Boehner is not an orator he is a sweet talker, he has many words of assurance that are uplifting and hopeful, but his actions are not at all congruent with his words. Don’t trust him, if you could scrape the orange off his face you see another face, the face of a traitor.
I trust BiBi and those in leadership know this already, they follow U.S. politicians as close as their own, and as they do they will realize that Ted Cruz is a friend not only in word but in deed.
CRUZ 2016!
” If Bonehead Boehner ever heard a shot fired in anger (friend or foe), he’d soil his tidy whities. “
And if he is not drinking there, he will be doubly useless.
