Radio news last night said that the restaurant is in a notoriously “gay neighborhood” with three gay bars on the same block. the money would be best spent on moving toa na area in town that 24-hour guards would not be such a necessity.

LOL ... I see you haven’t read my other posts ... there is NO INFORMATION on the funder page as to the how, what, when and where of any funds disbursement. You don’t even know how much the overhead is for the charitable organization to handle it, and not even talking about the amount taken out by the funder site.
There is ONLY ONE WAY you can be ABSOLUTELY SURE that there won’t be exorbitant fees or that you’re getting SCAMMED with your donation, and that is to SEND IT YOURSELF ... that way it is ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEED, and you KNOW IT!
Get an envelope out, and address it this way!
