"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldn’t make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan

"A thing moderately good is not so good as it ought to be. Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." - Thomas Paine 1792

"It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." - Samuel Adams

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams

By next month or earlier, Cruz will be in the lead.

There is no reason to support Huckaphoney if you do so from a religious standpoint, Cruz is every bit as religious, more so.

There is no reason to support Paul from a Conservative standpoint as Cruz is significantly more financially conservative than Paul.

I am very much liking Cruz. He walks it like he talks it!

The establishment candidates -- Bush and Christie -- collect a grand total of 21%.

There's trouble in Rove City...

And he just put the others in “check”.

“Cruz’s comments on the Indiana law and his denouncement of same-sex marriage was well-received by the audience, which interrupted him with applause when he spoke about religious freedom.”

Good news but I would like to see who is the second choice of the people polled.

For example, are the people supporting Walker second choice Jeb or Ted?

Most people end up supporting their second choice.

I would imagine that most people, that support Walker would have Cruz as their second choice, not Jeb Bush

Because of that I think there is a very good chance that the nomination will come down to one of either Walker or Cruz.

Just an aside, I do not think Jeb Bush could win a general election. There are too many people that still suffer from BDS and that is not limited to just his brother George.

I also think that Sarah Palin is to damaged politically to win an election. That is not a slam at her personally but just that she has been too thoroughly slimed by the media.

Both Cruz and Walker are politically savvy enough to avoid the verbal traps set for them by the 5th column media. Both have shown they can stand up to peer pressure bullying of the left.

Of the two I think Cruz is the better candidate.

The only “full spectrum,” complete, Reaganite conservative in the mix. The rest are poseurs, including Walker, Rubio, and Carson. Paul and Trump are bad jokes. Huckabee and Santorum are old news phonys. Bush, Christie, Fiorina, and Kasich are RINOs. Pence just shot himself in the foot.

Walker @ 20 and Cruz @ 16.

The pro-amnesty-for-illegal-alien candidate loses to the (IRC) secure border candidates 26-17. (And other pro-amnesty candidate Rubio is at 6%, with no hope of improvement.)

The GOP insiders have much to learn on the deep, unwavering, and motivated secure-border vote from the MAJORITY of GOP voters.

Some of these guys need to drop out. Carson, Santorum, Huckabee and i-Carly need to do the world a favor and stay out.

I’ll wager some of those praising Cruz today, will disown him in the not too distant future. He’ll do something, say something, consider something that the most perfect among us disagree with. As such, they’ll throw another hissy fit and stay home in 2016.

We’ll destroy our own candidates in 2016, just like we did in 2012...don’t doubt it.

Polls at this stage of the game are largely swung by name recognition. By announcing, Cruz’s name recognition has got to have gone up. Walker’s been in the news a lot. Jeb’s a Bush, so he has built-in name recognition.

None of this really matters much, though. The polls for Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina in the month or two before those primaries/caucus will matter much, much more.

Whatever the outcome, I’m thoroughly enjoying Ted’s participation and will not be deterred should he fall short of gaining the nomination.

Cruz is the template for America’s future.
