SIOUX CITY, Iowa - Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) reiterated his support for Indiana's controversial religious freedom law Wednesday, despite a fresh push by that state's governor to "fix" the measure.
Speaking in a stuffy, cramped auditorium at Morningside College here, Cruz said that religious liberty is not a "fringe view." Cruz staked his claim to the right of Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, who signed the law but said he wanted to see "a fix" to the law that makes clear it does not give businesses license to deny services to customers on the basis of sexual orientation, and Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R ) who asked lawmakers Wednesday to recall or amend a religious freedom bill.
"We're seeing in the news right now a lot of noise because the state of Indiana bravely stood up and passed a law defending religious liberty. Ill say this: I will commend the state of Indiana for doing the right thing," Cruz said....

Go, Cruz, GO!!
God bless him for doing the right thing. We may be too far gone as a nation to respond to him but God bless him anyway.
There’s nothing wrong with the law.
The problem is Indiana’s ball-less governor.
Gave last week when he announced and gave just now to encourage him to stand strong against the evildoers who are persecuting Jesus. (If you recall the conversion story of Saul to Paul, Jesus asked Saul, who had imprisoned Christians, “Saul, why do you persecute me?”)
Cruz is right about one thing -- pray!
The first dozen comments at the site are bleak, but it is the Washington Post. Personally, I believe that most Americans are more behind Cruz than anyone else. Perhaps the Republican party is the wrong venue.
Fearless and principled. This is what distinguishes him. Doubt any of the other candidates will follow his lead— he’s in a class by himself.
One brave man DOES make a difference.
Mike Pence’s pathetic cave-in to the sodomites is a glittering example of The Peter Principle in real life. (And to think that Pence’s name has been bandied about as a viable possibility of being a candidate for POTUS?! PUHLEEEZE!)
Another $50 I can’t afford now that it’s a new quarter.
The law already limits the so called descrimination.
You shouldn’t discriminate against anyone but, a religious conscience doesn’t allow celebration of a union between Bob & Bob or Jane & Jane.
Wanna work at an establishment? Fine, just keep your sexual proclivities to yourself.
I don’t like watching heterosexuals engage in overt sexual preening or coming on to anyone they want.
Don’t care for it if yer a homo either.
There is a line and it’s the same for both classes but, make no mistake, your lifestyle is the ambiguous one and no one can tell what your orientation is with any degree of certainty. Moreover, I give a fk.
You are self objectifying yourself and demonstrating your primary existence revolves around your bedroom prferences.
It belongs in the bedroom, not the boardroom.
I don’t care for it when chicks think they can hunt me and sure as hell don’t have any tolerance for dicks who come on to me.
Make it a joke, be done with it, move on.
But, oh where oh where are Walker, Phony Rand and Crooked Jebby ??
Their silence say it all.
So are the voices of all of the latter’s supporters.
that promo is gonna REALLY confuse sharpton who already thinks the guys name is Ted’s Crew....
And this is why I support Ted Cruz, he comes out swinging and tells these Commie a-holes that they can take their opinion and shove it..God Bless you Ted Cruz, you have my vote in 2016
Money sent.
I’m guessing he forgets his own name several times a day, along with forgetting to breathe.
Publicly, the politican Ted Cruz, so far, is the only righteous man.
the weight loss has yet to be explained in any manner that would dissuade me from thinking he has either cancer..... or AIDS
if its CANCER hed be calling cancer RACESS....so it must BE aids
given that Ive learned that AIDS...leads to DEMENTIA..the whole THANG fits together like a Hat...like a Hat and Glove ..I say!!
