TO GIVE YOU an idea of how influential sports have become in this nation's fractionalized and petty political discourse, just look at the timeline since Indiana Gov. Mike Pence signed Senate Bill 101 into law last Thursday. Apple CEO Tim Cook, who is openly gay, condemned the law, known as the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. The CEO of Salesforce, the billion-dollar tech company, did as well, Marc Benioff saying he would halt plans to expand into the state. Angie's List announced it, too, was canceling a $40 million expansion of its Indianapolis headquarters, a move that was to add 1,000 jobs. There were protests in Indianapolis and Bloomington. Mayors in San Francisco and Seattle said they would not do business with Indiana. And yet despite all this, when Sunday morning rolled around, there was Pence on ABC's "This Week," defiantly telling George Stephanopoulos, "We are not going to change this law." Two days later, there was Pence again, in a morning news conference, saying that the bill had "a perception problem" and that "we have to fix this." Translation: We're going to bend it as much as we can to rescue this mess and my presidential candidacy. What changed? The thought of losing the NCAA Tournament forever, and perhaps the NCAA itself, as well. The thought of NASCAR driving by it, too. Maybe the NFL is watching. And U.S. Swimming. And, and . . . Here's NCAA president Mark Emmert to Gregg Doyel

Stupid sports addiction. Why not dare the NCAA to pull out of Indiana? Let's see who blinks! And even if the NCAA really did pull out, it's a small price to pay for not being forced to become complicit in sin!

Sports and Angie’s List are all highly overrated.

Grow more corn.

Build more RVs.

Just don’t cave in, Hoosiers.

The bloodletting will never stop if you do.

Indiana should sue each organization threatening to pull out of the state for discrimination. Discriminating against Indiana, but not discriminating against Illinois or the other states who have such a law.

Have quit following a multitude of “sports” columnists in the last couple weeks. They certainly carry the torch for the queer/weird agenda.

Can someone explain why it is, that many other states have these laws, but the left only decided to have a meltdown over this Indiana law, and not other states laws?

Why is it that the left didn’t raise hell about these religious freedom laws until Indiana passed their law?

Why is it that the left is not targeting other states?

Where is Chuck Schumer? He was a sponsor of the federal version of this law, which passed overwhelmingly in the Democrat controlled Congress in 1993, and was signed by Bill Clinton.

Is this whole uproar being orchestrated by the left, for their own political purposes?

In states which have had these laws in place, have any homosexuals had their rights violated due to these laws?

How do liberals reconcile their outrage now with their support of a similar law in the Clinton era?

If the liberals are so outraged, why haven’t they been calling for repeal of these laws in other states, and the federal law?

Will anyone in the media call out the idiot governor of Connecticut, for banning state travel to Indiana? His own state has one of these religious freedom laws.

Can you imagine the reaction of people such as John Stewart, and the MSM in general, if a GOP governor called for boycott of a state which had a law which his own state has???

Pence can kiss any talk of running for POTUS goodbye. Every conservative talkie was busy defending it and his decision then he vacilates to the godless sodomites using the guileful enforcement of political correctness who’ve declared war on Christianity. Proves he’s no crusader for conservatism.

There is a silent majority on this issue who are fearful to express their views in public but will unleash their inner warrior in the poll booth. I guarantee that.
