Perhaps Indiana Gove. Mike Pence and state lawmakers should revisit the religious freedom legislation. Theyve officially lost NASCAR , a sport that, despite its growing diversity, still has a strong conservative base.
NASCAR is disappointed by the recent legislation passed in Indiana, said NASCAR Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer Brett Jewkes, in a statement released Tuesday.
We will not embrace nor participate in exclusion or intolerance. We are committed to diversity and inclusion within our sport and therefore will continue to welcome all competitors and fans at our events in the state of Indiana and anywhere else we race.

Post of the day!
This is the most meaningless statement in the world yet repeated ad infinitum by vain fools who believe it flatters them.
Things and people are diverse on their own. It occurs naturally. Call it genetic randomness, entropy, mutation, luck, whatever.
But leftists don't want true diversity as in the uniqueness of every single person, thought and belief. They want labels affixed to everything and everyone immediately if not sooner in order to set label X against label Y in order to act as so-called peacemaker (with X & Y's money).
Does NASCAR have visually-impaired drivers? Fat pit crew members? Mechanics who don't know which end of the wrench to hold? Broadcasters who don't speak English? Accountants who lack basic arithmetic skills? Obviously, the answers to all these are no.
Being committed to something that occurs randomly and/or naturally is nonsensical and strictly an appeal to the simple-minded. It's akin to standing on a beach and saying you are committed to the tides, or visiting the zoo and declaring it a good idea for animals to walk on four legs. Only fools would think such statements profound or consequential.
No one wants the gay-card thrown at them.
Trumps the race-card.
NASCAR need to stay out of politics.
Glad I never really cared about Nascar.
Yep.
They are scared to death !!!!
“They are scared to death !!!!”
Then they deserve to fold, and so does Pence.
PLz leave Indiana, Nascar,, better yet, move to Europe.
What used to be about racing stock cars has become a behemoth of big business, disrespectful of its fans and those who built it up from when there were no stands or coverage. It has chosen the path of being a follower of social morays that are destructive, not helpful or necessary or pertinent to cars going around in circles.. the Keystone Kops had that act down years ago.
Why go backward now?
People need to spend more time exercising their 1a rights when they see or talk about homosexuals than passing needless laws.
I guess the organization should be renamed as GLAADCAR.
NASCAR died when Dale E. died. It has since sold its soul to corporate sponsorships.
Daytona is removing 59000 seats cause they can’t fill them. As a matter of fact 11 tracks have reduced capacity. They brag about 95000 people attending the All Star week, but that’s one Gator game.
How’s all that diversity working out for ya NASCAR?
intolerance?
call the public relations office of nascar and ask the lady that answers if she’d google either the folsom street fair or goatse.
if she complains that she cannot do that on a work computer... ask why not? after all, that’s what they’re promoting to their customer base (including kids)
Boy you sure find out who your enemies are.
The longer this “stuff” continues the more exclusive, discriminatory, selective, exclusionary, and protective of MY rights from the Almighty, as enumerated in the Constitution of the United States of America, and to 7734 upside down and backwards with the gasoline throwing regressive progressive alphabet soup of the eternal oddballs of society who just can’t seem to live their pitiful lives without the tacit approval and recognition of Christians in general.

Sounds like someone in NASCAR is getting rear ended a little too often.
