Andreas Lubitz: Germanwings flight's last minutes revealed in chilling black box transcript
29 March 2015 By Alex Wellman
Patrick Sondheimer is heard screaming to his co-pilot "Open the goddam door" as passengers scream in the background
The dramatic last moments of the doomed Germanwings flight have been revealed in a chilling transcript of the black box recording that shows the captain screaming at Andreas Lubitz Open the goddam door.
Patrick Sondheimer, pilot of the traffic plane, is heard frantically pleading with the killer to let him into the cockpit, just seconds before crashing into the Alps.

Evidence: The Cockpit Voice Recorder of the Germanwings plane has shown the terrifying last moments of the flight
The recording is said to begin normally, with the captain apologizing to passengers for an almost 30 minute delay in Barcelona.
He then tells them he expects the flight to make up the lost time mid-flight to Dusseldorf.

Revealed in the German newspaper Bild, the recordings then show the tragic captain chatting with Lubitz for the next 20 minutes.
According to the paper, the killer co-pilot then tells Mr Sondheimer he can go to the toilet at any time noting that he had not relieved himself at the airport in Barcelona.
A short while later, 10.27am, the plane has reached its cruising altitude of 38,000ft and the captain tells Lubitz to prepare for the landing.
According to investigators, the co-pilots responses are said to be laconic, with the 27-year-old using phrase such as hopefully and well see.

“One of my first questions was were there any air marshals on board?”
I don’t know if they do.
But, maybe they have some sort of Gestapo agents on their planes.
The broken link right after you said
“I think I’ve seen a photo like that before???... “
At least, it’s broken to me...maybe it’s a firewall issue.
Canada does have security similar to U.S.
Inflight undercover RCMP officers are watching for a new threat
November 12, 2014 6:51 pm
The officers who guard commercial airliners are now on the lookout extremist Canadians travelling to and from foreign conflicts.
The concern is the unpredictable nature of so-called high-risk travellers (HRTs) and the potential of an attack.
Martin Couture Rouleau, who used his car to run down and kill Canadian Forces Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent Oct. 20, was considered an HRT suspect.
RCMP had arrested him when he tried to fly to Turkey and seized his passport. He was one of 93 people under active RCMP surveillance.
RCMP Supt. Serge Lalonde is in charge of the Canadian Air Carrier Protective Program:
HRTs are part of our daily job. As part of our behavioural observation analysis training, weve told them to pay particular attention to (watching for) them. We dont know their state of mind, the last two weeks gave us an example of people who become radical. The fact that they act as lone wolves, theres no control over that.
Supt. Serge Lalonde
The air carrier protection program was established in 2002.
It places covert, armed Mounties, known as inflight security officers, aboard select Canadian commercial flights around the world: the last line of defence at 30,000 feet.
Theyre experts in marksmanship, close-quarters combat, hostage negotiation, bomb disposal, behavioural observation analysis and more.
A steady daily flow of intelligence reporting by Canadian and allied agencies helps determine their flight deployments. The officers follow targets around the globe, mostly potential terrorists suspected as dangers to aviation.

Lubitz was exactly that... a cold-blooded mass murderer...and worse than most because the people's lifes he took had no options to escape the confines of where he trapped them. He had a choice...the people had none.
Will periodic govt. psych tests be mandatory for ALL transportation operators?
Stupid idiots. There is a simple tech solution ...
Provide two unlock codes for the door one known only to the pilots and one known to the pilots and the cabin crew. The difference obviously being that the pilot code always works, whereas the cabin crew code can be vetoed from inside the cockpit. Sounds like a matter of a few lines of code.
I only was being humorous and just posting the selfie photo of Whore-aldo that has been all over the net for months. You can find many by just goggling his name and the word ‘selfi’ or towel. LOL
Now that the world no longer believes in the sanctity of life, ...(we murder babies still in the womb)...life is expendable for whatever one might think in their minds.
Assisted suicide, euthanasia, abortion, has given rise to mothers and fathers killing their own children without shame, and a host of other crimes against “humanity”.
Well since we are now in fantasy land: :)
Unless the Captain was armed with a hand cannon or larger there still would be a risk of blowing up the aircraft controls and fly by wire systems. And with only minutes to kill or disable the co-pilot, how many hand cannon shots would it take to blow the door down?
They most likely died on the first impact, their vertical fall rate was most likely 100 ft/min, they got knocked out at least
The idea behind people in the cockpit being able to override security codes is to prevent someone in the aircraft cabin (pilot or cabin crew) from punching in the code under duress (i.e. torture or threats to passengers).
Mr. Lubitz had been receiving treatment for a psychological or psychiatric condition that he did not disclose to his employer. this is what was printed, so his employer did not take a piss test a blood test or thier own psych test? They dropped the ball to save money
Would and could big difference
“Once the people jump and leave the airplane
they would no longer be traveling with it.”
Better still if they had all run the opposite direction. 150 times 3 mph run per person would have neutralized the plane’s velocity. It would have touched the ground at 0mph.
What if the captain turns out to be the bad guy?
Psychos have rights to privacy, doncha know
“Imagine if the pilot would have been armed. I would have gotten thru a locked door with my firearm.”
A kill switch would have been far more effective. Every copilot needs to have a kill switch embedded, so the captain has full control, even if he is out of the cockpit.
After Vietnam there was a huge exodus of pilots from the military.
Now, there aren't so many ex-mil pilots at the airlines because the supply of them has dwindled since tthe big defense cuts (mostly fighter wings), and because the demand for pilots increased with airline deregulation.
I don't think the german nutcase would have made it to his first solo in jet training. He couldn't handle the stress they deliberately put on you to eliminate the less motivated students.
I think you must mean /sec
Indeed. A couple seconds after he died he knew he made the wrong choice . Forever!
Thank’s a pant-load for that visual.
