So if the president federalizes the National Guard, is that a “Go Signal”?

Unless the law has been changed the president can’t Federalize the Nat. Guard unless the governor of said state gives permission. Some here might recall that Pres. Bush wanted to Federalize the Nat. Guard during Katrina but Gov. Blanco refused for several days allowing the mess to get much worse.

"Governors have complete control of their National Guard units until the President federalizes them".

The Governors should call out and declare the National Guard of the State a part of the Militia. And then the President can piss off. WHO CARES IF IT"S CONSTITUTIONAL? Obama doesn't give a rats A$$ when he does it.
