If Iran gets everything they want out of this, why bother? Obama and Kerry are really, really desperate for a foreign policy success. It doesn't really matter if that "success" is only temporary, and will be harmful in the long run.
They are willing to risk the security of an entire region for a chance at a "legacy". Fools they are, self-centered fools.

If Iran gets everything they want out of this, why bother? Iran wants the sanctions lifted.
So far as the US is concerned, that's the job of Congress.
And, right now, I don't think Congress is going to lift them.
