Video at link. One of these things is not like the others...
Isn't it interesting how the safest drivers on the roads are those who own classic cars? My 64 like most cars from that era, even with new ball joints, shocks and a disc brake conversion still handles like a cement truck compared to the new cars like the one Rep Norton clearly is incapable of driving properly, yet, as anyone in the auto insurance business can verify, we're the ones LEAST likely to cause an accident. As we can see, the problem never was high performance cars, it's low performance drivers.

She needed extra room to get her fat O*O out of the car.

Well....cut the affirmative action witch some slack....She's just a ‘token’ member of Congress with no voting privileges. Besides, she's been around since dirt was invented - what do you expect?
Ain't no Alzheimer's here dude.

Looks like she came in from the wrong direction in the first place...................

What amazed me is that her staffer did seem to think much of it, or try to help her.

I drive a huge Lincoln Town Car and I could park it in that space no problem....................

That struck me too as well. The staffer was so deferential to her, a white guy too.
Why he didn’t just say, gimme the keys, I’ll pfix it is beyond me. He acted completely oblivious to the situation as if he dare not even acknowledge the obvious in your face screw-up.
I want to know how the red vehicle to the right was even able to leave after that parking job.

I didn’t see anywhere in the article where she tried to explain anything.

I had an uncle who at the near end of his life still drove. I watched him at a gas stop trying to maneuver his car to get the gas door by the pump. Over and over a couple of times and he couldn’t figure out the problem.
I finally helped him gas it up by putting the car in the right position and then told him to drive his car home - I’d go get whatever he needed.
The way she did this shows me she’s lost her faculties.

Seems like pretty shabby wheels for somebody making $175 grand with a $1.4m office budget.
Wonder if the Caddy was in the shop and she took the grandkids car?

I bet that car was bought and paid for - not by her.

Maybe the staffer was more concerned about keeping his own job than about damage to some stranger’s car.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Drunks park like that.I've never heard a whisper about Eleanor in that regard, though it's always possible. But I would guess that the explanation is age.

That may well be, but why a roller skate? If she’s got a Ford connection, how ‘bout a Lincoln?

I’m guessing she’s keeping the cash somewhere else. Trying to appear she’s “down with the stuggle” instead of “down with the payoff”...
