Yet another mass murder by a mentally ill person.
Liberal logic would dictate a call for banning commercial airlines now...
Does Tomato Andy refer to political ideology is the same way as German soldiers in WW-I called Hitler Adi the Red?
Calling him mocking names like Tomato Andy qualifies as bullying. That will be where the blame heads.
Exactly. Why does anyone need an Airbus?
He couldn’t be happy with just flipping switches and pushing buttons... Nooooooooo.
10 day waiting period for planes now.
Reports in German media suggested that Lubitz had suffered from depression in the past, and that his employer would have been aware of his history.
Germany’s Bild newspaper reported on Friday that Lubitz had suffered from depression during a period when he broke off his training six years ago. It said he spent over a year in psychiatric treatment.
Lufthansa, parent company of Germanwings, has acknowledged that Lubitz had broken off his training in 2009 but says there was nothing in the pilot’s background to suggest he was a risk.

Yeah, and last night on Free Republic there was a German source was he had been a Muslim convert while in flight school in Bremen Germany. Now it THAT is the truth I doubt we will ever know. Can you imagine the impact of travel if people worldwide wondered if thier flight crew were jihadists bent on death spirals into paradise?

Well ... I’m not flying ... LOL ...
“Andreas Lubitz was deemed “unsuitable for flight duties” for a period of time during his training with Lufthansa and was receiving regular treatment for depression, sources have claimed, as investigators focus their inquiry on his personal life and background.
The German tabloid Bild quoted sources as claiming Lubitz received psychiatric treatment for one and a half years while in flight school, and was forced to repeat some classes because of a struggle with depression.
It said he had received specific and regular medical treatment ever since he suffered a serious depressive episode in 2009.”
Girlfriend. That addresses one concern I’ve heard voiced.
Excuse me, but what a pussy! Did he think that real pilots would respect him for being a flight attendant?
Mommy, they’re calling me Tomato Andy! They’re calling me Tomato Andy. What a jagoff! FUTA!
No doubt, totally justifiable action crashing a airplane if bullying was involved !
I can see the talking heads now, lamenting not the victims, but the bullied Tomato Andy.
