Back during the Clarence Thomas hearings, I got some women co-workers’ noses out of joint when I said:

1) I don’t believe the allegations and

2) I would not care if they were true

I said I wanted a guy who would make rulings according to the Constitution, and didn’t care if he made stupid jokes.
