The co-pilot of the doomed Germanwings Airbus A320 locked his captain out of the cockpit before deliberately crashing into a mountain to 'destroy the plane', it was sensationally revealed today.
French prosecutor Brice Robin gave further chilling details of the final ten minutes in the cockpit before the Airbus A320 plunged into the French Alps killing 150 people.
Revealing data extracted from the black box voice recorder, he said the co-pilot - named as 28-year-old German Andreas Lubitz - locked his captain out after the senior officer left the cockpit.
At that point, Lubitz used the flight managing system to put the plane into a descent, something that can only be done manually - and deliberately.
He said: 'The intention was to destroy the plane. Death was instant. The plane hit the mountain at 700kmh (430mph).
'I don't think that the passengers realised what was happening until the last moments because on the recording you only hear the screams in the final seconds'.
arlier in the flight, Mr Brice said Lubitz's responses, initially courteous, became 'curt' when the captain began the mid-flight briefing on the planned landing of the plane.
The captain - named by local media as German father-of-two Patrick Sonderheimer - then left the cockpit but found himself locked out when he tried to re-enter.
Mr Robin said: 'We hear the pilot asking the co-pilot to take over and we hear the sound of a chair being pushed back and a door closing so we assume that the captain went to the toilet or something.
So the co-pilot is on his own, and it is while he's on his own that the co-pilot is in charge of the plane and uses the flight management system to start the descent of the plane.

It seems the media has a crystal ball by their hype of this being suicide by plane.
I’ve known people that were in good physical condition that had sudden debilitating physical events such as seizures or heart attacks, choking etc.
The real outrage should be directed at those that allow a policy of a single person in the cockpit behind an impenetrable door while in flight. Unbelievable! The airlines or government will attempt to push this away from being their fault.
Don’t think so. I see it every day. Precocious behavior... accomplishment without responsibility... just another thing to do but it means nothing.
That’s in Normal Law, but doesn’t the A-320 also have Natural Law, allowing a dive?
“No airline industry can be this stupid. But they are.”
Yep. Literally, if the two pilots left the cockpit, they could possibly lock themselves out completely. Amazing.
Think about that for a second. If a muzzie wanted to crash a plane all they would have to do is wait until one pilot leaves the cockpit then get the other to then also leave, locking the door behind them. The plane would eventually crash.
“The debris field looks too wide for a mountain impact.”
Where did you get that? It looks exactly like ground impacts look.
just another normal...lifestyle...
Here is the guy: https://www.facebook.com/tobias.heisig.1
Agreed, and there’s more to it than just having a second person enter the flight deck.
Im sure they were a happy couple for a short time....
Sounds like one man terrorism
Im wondering why Facebook took down his page?
Was there evidence there which could have lead to any conclusions about this guy?
Interesting isn’t it? It is the opposite of transparency. In the digital age the Powers That Be can erase every semblance of your existence as well as modify history itself to suit their current politically correct views.
When history and writings were in hard copy book format in libraries it was impossible to edit. Today it is in the cloud and on Kindles where a global edit can change everything, from world history to what has been written and said. Either we need to be very concerned about where this leads, or become a happy clueless sheep looking forward to the next wave of senseless reality TV propaganda.
I have no idea about that.
Me, neither.

Indeed.
Even Obies...records exist ...[ maybe ] on paper somewhere...
