No, it is almost identical to US 427 in 1994. A vertical impact, no spread in the direction of flight.

If a French fighter watched this impact, the French have known since the first day that it was intentional because this aircraft did not hit in a shallow descent. It hit in a vertical dive.

With the official story..was there enough time for them to scramble a fighter jet to be flying along side the plane?

Tz, you have been a wealth of knowledge on these threads and I thank you. I will however differ with your opinion about the final moments dive. I’ve worked in mountainous regions all my life and it appears from the photos of the crash site the terrain is incredibly steep, well over 100% grade (45deg) near vertical. Flying into those rock faces even at a low angle into that granite would produce the apparent result
