PARIS As officials struggled Wednesday to explain why a jet with 150 people on board crashed in relatively clear skies, an investigator said evidence from a cockpit voice recorder indicated one pilot left the cockpit before the planes descent and was unable to get back in.

If it was a heart attack then why the descent? The airbus 320 does not have a control yoke that a slumping pilot could push forward. Either terrorism or suicide is my guess.
I agree.
CNN reporting it, now B. Hussein will find out about this.

Has CNN reported the names of the crew yet? kinda like when some anchor read the teleprompter last year, and didnt realize she was the victim of a “Live On Air Prank”.
Some phones should have survived the crash, who knows what pics & (unsent) messages might show up.
Fox speaker just said without saying...assuming this was either suicide or deliberate is pretty much the only explanation. They know who both pilots are so checking both out isn’t going to be hard to do. I suspect we’ll hear before long because the public isn’t up to waiting on something of this magnitude and suspicion of fowl play.
this unfortunate incident is a mirror reflection of what happens when you let democrats run the economy.
...”Either terrorism or suicide is my guess”...
Looks like it thus far. Just heard some flight people speaking about this and said hard to say otherwise just by the fact there was no mayday and that they have reported the other piolet tried to break down the door.
Shessh...can you imagine hearing this while investigating?....let alone being the other pilot trying to break down the door knowing well the plane was going down.
I’m thinking just that until proven otherwise.
Not yet, the names are still unreported.
Did some of the passengers text as this was happening or call?.....not sure you’d think of that in such a panic mode. * minutes is long enough to do so but they’d probably be waiting for the pilots to get control of whatever was happening...it takes longer than one thinks to “think” under duress such as that.
We were?
More likely the impact was so severe the box was highly damaged and the media was thrown as debris from the internals. As I speculated on another thread, straight on impact into solid granite at 450mph is probably near or exceeding the survivability threshold of the data recorder.
How many cell companies put towers in the middle of mountainous terrain? No signal.
So you are saying as a “recovering aircraft engineer” that the flight deck bulkhead is a pressure bulkhead?
BenLurkin - $20???? Let’s add some zeroes. That is the first thing that came to my mind - and it has not left. Good chance it was a jihadi pilot AND they have not released names, photos, recent Muslim conversion information. Yet.
Hopefully this ends the knee-jerk idiocy of a locked cabin door where no one can enter. So many scenarios where safety can require entry. How’d someone like to be on a flight with an incapacitated cockpit crew on the other side of the door where all you can do is watch out the window as the plane ends the flight in a spectacular and otherwise avoidable crash?
We were?
Damn. I dont know how i missed this. Thanks for posting it..
