“We’re sick in the head, have a nice day.”

Won’t Phil get in trouble for repeating that? Isn’t that a copyright of the Democratic Party??
Good on him.
He’s right.
Decapitated her head??? As opposed to decapitating some other part?
Of course, Mr. Robertson is right. If man WERE the measure of all things, then there would be no objective right or wrong, because everything would be relative to the perspective of the observer, just an in Einsteinian thought experiments. But God is the equivalent of the Speed of Light: An ABSOLUTE entity, against which everything else must be measured.
Mr Robertson is a good man!
Atheists are fascists. They all are in honeyed words preaching the mutual exclusiveness of science and God. Robertson was more frank and honest, and, note, he never told atheists they could not try be anything they wanted. He only portraid a criminal exploiting the naivete of the atheist.
What is Obama’s strongest attribute? Absolute WEAKNESS.
Some nobody tweets their opinion and that’s news? I’m talking about the responses on Twitter to Phil Robertson’s speech. I’m noticing a trend here: leftists don’t like Christian, white men who actually believe what the Bible says and isn’t afraid to repeat what the Bible says. Fine, I don’t really like them either. Wyatt Grondin and John Pavlovitz, Let’s split up. You can have Obamastan where Marie Harf employs her nasally voice propagandize the virtues the Jobs for Jihadis program. We can have America back.
I have a quite similar thought experiment for those who think they’re pacifists. They almost never are, they’re just people who like to pretend to themselves they are.
I bring that up on liberal sites from time to time. They think I’m sick and twisted that I need to believe in God in order to not be a raving lunatic. They intentionally miss the point.
I’m getting to where I no longer believe we should work really hard to convince a person to come to Christ. Many are called but few are chosen. If someone is chosen, no amount of convincing is necessary. Merely presenting the gospel is all that is required. And then it is up to them.
In his rather blunt and artless way, he is merely stating the case against moral relativism. If there is no final Judge of Right and Wrong, then what is to prevent anyone from doing whatever they want?
He’s right.
The left is quite uncomfortable when you point out the consequences of their philosophy in plain language.
Especially when the same outcome holds true for the culprit in Phil's example and a man who goes thru life without so much as jaywalking but still never accepts Christ as his savior.
It seems to be impossible to get the leftists angry about ISIS doing all these things but Mr. Robertson isn’t allow to even talk about them.
Cruz/Robertson 2016 /s
Simply expanding on the theme of “Crime and Punishment” by Dostoevsky. Wonderful!
Of course, the media is outraged at this “graphic” description of a hypothetical scenario.
They are NOT outraged at the “lady” who recently texted/tweeted/whatever her privates to a conservative guy.
He’s making atheists think, and atheists hate thinking.
I would like for an atheist to provide a basis for morality that does not ultimately derive from God. I don’t think it is possible for there to be one. If there is no God, nothing we do matters, and we can do anything we want. I think in our increasingly Godless society, the only reason most people continue to be moral is just habit. It can go away quickly, as witnessed by ISIS.
Atheists are not against God, they are against principles. They are relativists. The principled are absolutists.
