About time he’s charged with something. I was tired of him being hailed a hero.
Also charged with misbehavior before the enemy.
Will be a courtmartial hearing.

by Obama. I wonder what he’s going to say about this?
I just heard about it on the news? I disagree with the decision?

I would like the people who lost their lives trying to find this sack of excrement to be back alive. I'd like the 5 billion we gave to terrorists to be back. I'd like the 5 taliban we exchanged to be executed. And I'd like to have this bag of dung dropped right next to where they dumped Osama’s body off in the ocean.
Alas, I'm not going to get anything I want.

Can some knowledgeable Freeper help me understand what in the world motivated this administration to trade five (as I recall) high ranking enemy for this guy? I cannot figure it out— and I recognize that given this administration’s political orientation, the explanation may not be one that’s good the U.S. But I can’t figure out how it makes sense even from the President’s pro-Islamist, anti-American perspective. Did he just want an excuse to send those five guys back to the battlefield? Why’d he need Bergdahl for that?
Announcement is over.
No questions being taken

Desertion in the face of the enemy used to be a death penalty offense.
To: nuconvert
Well I hope they find a good firing squad. Maybe friends and family of the soldiers that were killed looking for this muslim sympathizer pos.

To: JOHN ADAMS
Did you see the statement in his book about siding with the muslims?
Yeah that’s about it.

Desertion and not defection? What a bunch of BS.

After Obama worked out a deal like this one, trading five senior terrorists for one American deserter, how do you suppose he’s going to do dealing with Iran?

That's the vibe I got. Bergdahl was a nobody - he wasn't some high ranking official, someone critical in the military command structure - none of that. The Regime gave up 5 ranking bad guys that were being asked for by the enemy. Handed right over at
their request. Has the stink of collaboration all over that bad deal.

Bibi! Have your Mosaad boys ‘take out’ these 5 Talibanis... Pay Obama back... Most of us Americans would be on your side.

He didn’t need him for that. He wanted to release his AlQueda/ISIS buddies and he needed a pawn to trade.
