I'm rounding up my fishing gear as a neighbor tells me there's good fishing at a lake not too far from here.
I think I'll scout it out, I haven't fished in years.

Nope, nada, zip spring weather on my side of the country. Cold morning with a chance of rain today and tomorrow, with temps in low 70s on Thursday but it’s a teaser as FRiday will be back to 50s (maybe).
My days off will be: my mother, her sister, and I are going to NC tomorrow to visit an elderly aunt who is nursing home and has no family nearby.
Now, fishing sounds like a very good retirement hobby! Go for it. Have fun and let me know if you catch anything.
