Sen. Ted Cruzs nascent campaign for the White House is running into its first signs of digital trouble.
While the firebrand Texas Republican prepares to announce his bid for the presidency on Monday morning, he does not appear to have control over the most obvious website to rally supporters: TedCruz.com.
Instead, people trying to visit that site will get the opposite message.
Support President Obama, the site says in simple white text on a black background. Immigration reform now! According to Internet records, TedCruz.com was created in April of 2004 but then switched ownership last spring. Archived versions of the website indicate that it was formerly run by an Arizona-based real estate firm, Ted Cruz and Associates.
The Cruz campaign appears like it will be using TedCruz.org as its primary website.
Opponents have also taken control of an alternate domain name for Cruzs supporters: TedCruzforAmerica.com.
Instead of leading to a site for the senator or his political action committee, that website which was created just Monday morning automatically redirects users to HealthCare.gov, the website for people to find health insurance under ObamaCare.

This isnt 2000.
People that want to know will find the right place. They have many mediums to reach people outside of a singular .com option.
What a BS headline. Sounded like a failed launch or something. All lies.

Drat! I looked at the headline and saw the word “race”. I assumed this was going to have something to do with racism since just about every news story lately has something to do with “diversity”, “race”, “racism” “equality”, etc., etc., etc.
Cruz or looze!
Somebody screwed up. One problem with good candidates is the people they hire. Someone hired to prepare for a campaign should have had this sewed up long ago.
Just made my first contribution to Cruz. Hope everyone else is spending their money wisely today also.
There was and still may be a porn site with the address whitehouse.com, or some other derivative... closely related as such. People eventually found their way to the whitehouse.gov website.
I made a fortune doing it in the 90s. But I never ripped anyone off nor used it politically.
YIKES! Thanx, FRiend...
I donated and then signed up to help support as a volunteer.
There are two different pages which may not talk to each other.
Even if one can’t donate you can volunteer to help.
