TED CRUZ: ‘COURAGEOUS CONSERVATIVES’ CAN ‘REIGNITE THE PROMISE OF AMERICA’
Breitbart ^ | March 22, 2015 | by BREITBART NEWS

Posted on 03/22/2015 7:52:42 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

On Sunday, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), who is expected to be the first candidate to formally enter the 2016 campaign on Monday at Liberty University, called on “courageous conservatives” to help take back the country from elites who place their faith in government instead of the American people.

Appearing on Breitbart News Sunday on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125, Cruz told host and Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon that Democrats like “Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama believe in government” more than the American people.

“They believe that elites in Washington can govern every aspect of our life, Washington knows better and it needs to control the economy–it needs to control every basic detail of our lives,” he said.

In contrast, Cruz, whom the late Andrew Breitbart viewed as the future of the conservative movement, said, “I believe in the Constitution. I believe in the unlimited potential of free men and free women.”

He said “the miracle of America” is that “we have been a land for centuries where millions of people have come from all over the world with nothing and have been able to achieve anything.” Cruz added that “we need to reignite the promise of America” and “there is an incredible potential to do so if courageous conservatives will simply stand up.”

“I am convinced that courageous conservatives coming together can bring us back to the free-market principles and constitutional liberties that this country was founded on,” Cruz said.

When Bannon asked the Texas Senator–who has taken heat from the D.C. establishment for not wavering from his conservative principles, especially in his opposition to amnesty for illegal immigrants and Obamacare–how someone who graduated from Harvard and Princeton can resonate like he does with working-class Americans, Cruz said it is because he always remembers where he camefrom.

I am a strict believer/adherer to Constitutional requirements ,as to wording and original intent, for POTUSA. I don’t believe Obama or his enablers has shown full and honest compliance for such by deeds and words as to Obama’s parentage. I have my reservations about Cruz meeting to the full extent of the requirements of parentage. However, in the context/comparison of parentage Cruz is by far more qualified than Obama. Perhaps, just perhaps, Cruz will shake the Obama heritage tree enough to bring/force light on what to many people in the US refuse to admit for Obama’s eligibility.

You are right about standing together.

I am very proud of our deep bench, and I do have high regard for what Walker has miraculously accomplished already in Wisconsin, and I’m even glad Rand Paul attracts leftys’ away from the Democrats, and that between two “old poops” even Jeb Bush, in these times, would likely beat Hillary. I adore Ben Carson and his remarkable, pristine integrity, because it is good to hear the simplicity of *his* goodness, and hear it come from our side of the aisle. I like Carly Fiorina, the accomplished and perfect Wall Street savvy woman to take it to Hillary Clinton with her accelerator down. No dummy, there. And, I’m proud to see Rick Perry dust himself off and come back into the ring. Not one thing going wrong in Texas economically. God bless TEXAS.

But, Ted Cruz has our heart and I want to see this strategy of his work. I think he is on to something and we need the show down. If good people can not win anymore, then we need to know that, loud and clear. Money is buying and selling us. Ted is trustworthy to the core. Trust is a rare commodity these days.

God bless Ted.

As soon as Cruz announces and has a campaign committee address, I’m sending him money. I’m not rich, but will give to my ability as I believe Cruz is a real constitutional conservative and is needed to rescue our USA.

Calling all conservatives:

For those of you frustrated with the lack of options last time around, even to the point that some of you stayed home on election day; here is your chance to support a real conservative.

Ted Cruz is principled and actually has a pair.

Cruz said in Iowa that he’s against ethanol subsidies and said it’s about sticking to your commitments and not just changing your stance based on who your audience is. Every other candidate profiled at that time failed miserably in the ethanol subsidy test.

Plus Cruz has been great in fighting to stop Obamacare. He’s great for gun rights and has an excellent record as Texas Solicitor General, the way he stood up for US sovereignty against the UN really stands out to me.

So this is it conservatives. Ted Cruz is our guy.

Let’s get behind him, get involved. Donate, make phone calls, go door to door.

Let’s go Cruz!

Please stop beating a dead horse.

The issue is settled per Jim Robinson.

All your comments do is allow the left to use them against Cruz. Is that what you want ???????????????????????

And .. don’t ever tell me what to do!

No worries even if the immaculated RNC allow a Candy, an Andrea, a Shep or any other nitwit to "moderate."

Cruz is more than able to,dress one of them down because whomever the libs and/or RINOs select, Cruz would have to debate the Dem candidate and the lib moderator and he's certainly more than up to that task!

Now if Cruz ran for POTUS with Walker as VP that would be a lethal combo. If one of them can eat a little humble pie and do it for the greater good that would be hard to beat...

Yeah, staring down the Unions was so wimpy (lol). We are certainly in agreement that Walker is the Real Deal.
