I remember Truman Capote telling Johnny Carson decades ago that most actors aren’t very bright, because if they had any analytical intelligence they they wouldn’t be able to recite their stupid lines so convincingly.

I saw it and then the image of Penn in his rescue canoe in NOLA after Katrina scooping out water from it using a red drink cup danced through my head. It hurts!
