According to a recently released internal memo, Starbucks baristas will no longer write "Race Together" on customers' cups starting Sunday.
Starbucks spokesman Jim Olson says the campaign to create discussion on diversity and racial inequality will continue without the handwritten messages, which are phasing out as originally planned.

When this campaign was announced, it probably had a lot of libs cringing too. They knew they were going to get ridiculed big time, and they knew they deserved to get ridiculed big time.

If the barista is white, ask them how they can stand to look at themselves in the mirror every morning knowing that white privilege got them their job at the expense of some more deserving minority.
better yet talk them onto a cliff or at the very least into sterilizing themselves. Introduce them to the voluntary white human extinction movement... ie. Liberal whack a doodles.
Maybe. Just maybe, you CAN fix stupid!
I can assure you, it was killing sales.
In fact, I’d say it was probably the most successful boycott since the Chick-Fil-A buycott.
(and of course that wasn’t gonna make news)
Full disclosure: I frequent SB for specialty coffees for home and transit
I kept an eye on 3 different Starbucks on my work commute over the past week here in the deep blue commonwealth of Massachusetts. ALL had much slower traffic over the past week than normal. All that was needed was to look through the windows and/or drive throughs. It was dead.
Trust me folks, this one pissed off just as many liberals. You see, most libs ARE racists, and really don’t wanna be reminded of it when they’re getting coffee.
I suspect the big share holders saw the receipts for one week... and I would have loved to had NSA’ed they had with phone teleconference with Howie Schultz.
Ha!
There are many Starbucks customers on FR, and none have reported seeing such marked cups.
“Better coffee at Dunkin & cheaper!”

I agree with you as far as the hot coffee goes...Starbucks’ iced coffee is much better.
I drink both types black and DD’s iced is just okay.
.
Whoever came up with this harebrained scheme (CEO Howard Schultz?) should be fired.
And you DON'T make your customers uncomfortable or they don't come back.
A Starbuck barrista wrote “Race Together” on ALL my cups!
I asked her, “How did you get into my house??
It does indeed. If you need to add contaminants, it’s not worth drinking.
I get gift cards from a couple sources for Starbucks. No monkey business at several I’ve been to.
The new cups should say, “Discuss the Knock-out Game and the White and Asians victims.” Write small to fit it all in!
I want a coffe shop that writes down: infidel
Race Together/TALLADAGA
“The phase-out is not a reaction to that pushback, Olson said. “Nothing is changing. It’s all part of the cadence of the timeline we originally planned.” Schultz’s note acknowledged the skeptics as an anticipated part of the outreach.”
Olson added: “We’ve ALWAYS been at war with East Asia. Move along, these aren’t the droids you’re looking for.”
Of course it was a bad idea...but the central flaw: Liberals really DON’T want to have a ‘frank’ discussion on race.
Jennings, Missouri is reported to have a Starbucks located in a convenience store.
Jennings is a couple of miles from Ferguson, Missouri
90% African American
8% White
No reports on how well Race Together was received there.
I guess it backfired.
A lot of in-other-store locations aren’t Starbucks corporate. They just sell Starbucks stuff. I don’t think they’re even franchises as the recipes don’t seem the same.
Dunkin's is OK, drank it once in a while when I was working in NE. But having had them all, I will always prefer Gas Station coffee.
Because that's what I want. A hot cup of regular joe. Buck thirty nine vs, 5.89 for a "Grande". With reduced price, or free, refills. Besides, I could never read Starbucks' stupid menu board.
