Today, the president of the United States told the prime minister of Israel he was reassessing America’s “options” with regard to Israel in light of remarks Benjamin Netanyahu made about potential Palestinian statehood and an election-day Facebook post urging Israeli right-wingers to go to the polls on Monday to counter a surge in Israeli Arab voters.
The crisis in the relationship we discuss in our new editorial statement has entered a new and potentially unprecedented phase.
It may well be that the president is going to present American Jews with a choice over the coming months no American president should ask us to make—to become parties to and participants in his effort to create what, in 2009, he called “daylight” between the U.S. and Israel.

I think the "Rachel" that she's referring to is Rachel Lipski, wife of Avi Lipski, a terrorism expert, who is also former IDF. I believe she is a former Mossad agent if memory serves correct. I spoke to Avi about a year ago and he said his wife monitors both radio and TV broadcasts in the Arabic / Muslim (she speaks Arabic) world to pickup information you won't hear in the Western world and that she knows Netanyhu personally and reports useful intel; this being one of them.
Clearly Obama favors the Muslims over Israel. So do the governments of Europe, for the most part.
So Israel is now isolated. Cornered. Under siege.
I’m not so sure this is a bad thing.
Israel’s military might is substantial. They have been coerced into not using their might by the threat of the withholding of support by the Western powers. Well, that threat is not there any more is it?
Obama is now going to allow Iran the bomb. Ten years means that the Saudis, Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, and perhaps others must now align with Israel to combat the Iran threat. As best I can tell, the Saudis also consider Iran to be an existential threat, and their influence with Egypt and other Sunni-aligned countries can possibly bring them all into the coalition.
This is the perfect storm that allows Israel the justification to begin to use its might to defend itself, and the new Arab-Israeli coalition becomes a reality.
The alignment of Arab neighbors with Israel means that a regional war is less likely, not more likely. Israel’s new Arab partners will either help or sit back and watch, either way, the region becomes less of a tinderbox, not more.
Iran’s military might is vastly overrated, their ability to wage war weakened considerably by the price of crude oil, thanks to US private property laws.
I realize I’m sounding bellicose, but it had to come to this at some point, and, as usual, Obama’s wrong posture as relates to Israel and Iran is creating the conditions for a resolution, and not in the way he had hoped.

I realize some FReepers keep lists of his faux pas. They are not faux pas or the administration’s ignorance on foreign policy, it is ALL very much calculated, brilliant, execution of his (their) agenda.
WE, yes WE, are witnessing the unraveling of the Jewish/Christian world. The atrocities being unveiled are but the glimpse into what the next several years holds in store for the world. None of what is going on right now is political, it is spiritual. The politics are just a sideboard to the bigger picture.
Our children are being taught the pledge substituting Allah...for God. Some are reciting the prayer of submission in class rooms all across our nation. Prisons are brimming with Islamic converts.

A racism that runs so deep that he would declare if political winds blow in an ugly direction he would stand with the muslims? A racism that runs so deep that he doesn’t or refuses to acknowledge the barbarism of his own Islamic roots. 0bama isn’t just muslim, he is a radical muslim who has filled our government with members/clerics of the muslim brotherhood.

Obama is no Christian. Look at his fruits (no I’m not talking about his staff or boyfriends) and his actions. Its clear; he is anti-Semitic.
