This is going to happen when there’s a perfect alignment of concealed carrying, well trained Americans present.
And it will be a freaking HUGH slap in the face towards the hoplophobes.

At Seattle airport one can conceal carry if you don’t go through security. Although I can’t remember the last time I went into the airport without getting on a plane.
I remember a couple of times I had a layover in my hometown and my family would come to visit me at the airport. All the way down by the airplanes, they’d be waiting for me as soon as I got off the plane with hugs and kisses. They would bring gifts, snacks, we would catch up in the hour or two.
Now it’s “I’ll pick you up at the curb on the lower level - tell me what door you are by.”
As far as I know, you can carry in (nearly) any airport up to but not beyond the security checkpoint. Beyond that point it’s considered the “sterile area”.
